Welcome to the first stop on our girls trip to Spain in the incredible city of Barcelona!
Day 1:
No trip to Barcelona would be complete without admiring the architectural masterpieces of Antoni Gaudí. Our first stop is La Sagrada Familia, a breathtaking basilica that captures the essence of Gaudí's visionary genius. With intricate facades and towering spires, this iconic landmark quickly became one of my favorites. For dinner, we hit Bar Brutal (recommended by the wildly talented Sam Youkilis @samyoukilis) known for their Catalan dishes and natural wines. From savory tapas to fresh seafood, everything was incredible. Next, we ventured to Bar Paradiso, rated the best bar in the WORLD three years in a row.
We kick off day two with a visit to the Picasso museum, followed up with lunch at El Xampanyet, a charming tapas bar renowned for its traditional Spanish fare and sparkling cava. We checked out the flea markets scattered throughout the Gothic Quarter, and stopped by one of our favorite stores, American Vintage which has a curated selection of retro-inspired clothing, perfect for anyone seeking one-of-a-kind pieces.
Next, we venture to Park Güell, a whimsical wonderland adorned with colorful mosaics, fantastical sculptures, and lush gardens.
I LOVED Barcelona and cannot wait to go back and hope this inspires you to book your own trip there soon!

Hiiii! I’m travelling to Barcelona in 5 days, what clothes do you suggest for the weather?
heyy i travel to barcelona a every year so i may be able to help. From what i’ve seen locals wearing, opt for a lot of linen (be careful tho linen wrinkles) and lightweight fabrics. Go for a more timeless style too. Barcelona doesn’t have a lot of air conditioning (europe in general) so lightweight is KEY. For everyday wear just pack lightweight shirts with some detail and flowy skirts or denim/linen shorts. Make sure you pack fancier clothes for a night out (flowy dress, satin blouse, etc) when going to dinner revealing clothes aren’t really necessary (i’m also assuming your a girl). Also if you’re old enough to go to the club MAKE SURE U WEAR HEELS. Also you will be walking everywhere so comfy shoes are key. I recommend birkenstocks or sneakers. Anyways enjoy your stay!
