This is my first JESC ever and I have followed ESC since 2018. I was completely blind and tuned on the show out of curiosity. I’m not lying when I’m telling you that I shed a river watching Georgia’s performance. The staging, the melody and the song are each a journey of their own and make magic when so well put together. The singer felt so confortable and in sync with the camera, he invited us to his story and took us on a journey. When Georgia’s performance was over I instantly declared it as my winner no matter what came later in the show. I am so happy he won. There were other amazing songs but none of them were and felt as a journey as beautiful and well put together as Georgias was. I ran to look for the translation of the song and that finished completely captivating my heart. I hope to see him again on ESC when he’s older and of course if he wants to. His song left a print on my heart. So happy it won, so well deserved! Congratulations! 🇬🇪🤍❤️ I’m following JESC from now on!
That's interesting. I didn't follow JESC fandom this year. Based on the final night, my favourites were Georgia, Portugal & Ukraine, and I voted for them. They were indeed the actual Top 3 and pleased with the result.
I was rooting for Armenia and Estonia. I was sure Portugal will win but... I have nothing to say about vocals of georgian guy (ok I have it was amazing) but his song wasn't even memorable. Just like in esc last years winners are chosen by juries and 2nds are leaders of public voting. It is sad for me.
I still can't believe Georgia won. There were much better songs and much better performances in this edition of the JESC. Portugal at least won the Public vote, so there's some justice there, But Estonia and Ireland so far down in the rankings, especially Estonia? I just can't believe that. I'm surprised Ukraine and France weren't more serious contenders for the win, though France was doing well with the Jury for awhile there. North Macedonia was always going to depend on performance, but they turned in a great performance for the public today (not sure about the Jury Show) so it seems almost criminal for them to be that far down. There was one country where the artist sounded like they were singing along to their own voice. San Marino's song could've been much better, but it seemed no effort was made on the staging and the girls had the charisma of plain white bread. If San Marino hope to do well in the future, they need to ramo up thei energy.
Good about this top: Poland being lower, Macedonia not 16th, Georgia being not the winner, Albanias placement, Irelands place (100% agree), Netherlands placement, Armenias placement, Spain good result, Estonia good result, having a winner I would agree more with than with Georgia. A bit disagree: Italy lower than real result (because he was really good!), France (could be lower), Cyprus (could be lower) Really bad about this top: Malta being criminally underrated (it's the winner!!), Germany being way too low (top 5 potential!) My top 17 after the show 1) Malta (+2) 2) Macedonia (-1) 3) Estonia (-1) 4) Spain (+3) 5) Germany (=) 6) Armenia (=) 7) Netherlands (-3) 8) Italy (+1) 9) Ireland (+1) 10) France (+2) 11) Albania (=) 12) Cyprus (-4) 13) San Marino (=) 14) Portugal (=) 15) Ukraine (=) 16) Poland (=) 17) Georgia (=)
Because those people have no taste or music knowledge. Georgia stood out high above the others in terms of talent. It’s time that they cancel televoting because it’s changing JESC and ESC into a Ga’circus .
I love how this is the first time a ballad won JESC since 2017

Why are people sleeping on Malta this much???
I am not. It became my winner after being on my 3rd place before the show. I am so happy he made it to top 5. ^-^
@@meli-loves-musicI literally cried at Malta’s performance. First time I cried over a JESC song
@@ESCOscarMe too! It was beatiful, but not enough to win
@@ESCOscar i cried, too. 😢 It was the most heartwarming performance of the whole evening.
Given it’s sung in Maltese, not everyone might understand that the song is about his adoptive parents
🇬🇪Georgia was so amazing
I didn’t expect it to be so good and that’s what made it better
Cyrpus omg

You should do fandom top vs televote results
Challenge: Spot the camera!
(Hint 2:12)
Is this based on the scoreboard app?

More dezerved place for Georgia in the scoreboard, this is where the people wanted it to be.

Le peuple l'a mis 6e pourtant, la est sa réelle place
I couldn't agree more. He has an amazing voice but the song is very boring. I'm still shocked he win.
I love poland he was robbed. But georgia yessss
