- I got over 1000 Minecraft Advancements in my Hardcore world and I made a montage to share the journey! For those asking, this is the Blaze and Caves Advancement Pack, a datapack which adds 1,057 Achievements to Minecraft Java 1.19, which explores essentially every part of the vanilla game with some added challenge inbetween. I survived well over 100 Days in Minecraft Hardcore mode, totaling around 500 ingame Days, taking 170 real life hours over the span of 9 months! Minecraft Speedrunner vs everything else the game has to offer! This is my most ambitious video yet, I hope you enjoy!

Almost every second of this run is recorded and/or streamed in the full playlist I shared below. If you are familiar with BAC, you might notice that the end raiding cuts off suddenly without reaching 100k out, this is because I have lost the 2nd stream where I did it. I'm super bummed to be missing just a little bit of footage, but it is what it is.

As someone who attempted this modpack, i can say that only 171 hours to complete it is one hell of a speedrun

As someone about 450 advancements deep into the 1.19 pack, this was extremely motivating. It seems so daunting right now to me, but this made me realize it is actually possible. I just have one question. How the hell did you get a warden into the end and nether for highway to hell and endergeddon? Fantastic video, and congratulations on completing the pack.
Warden is a little tricky but not too hard when you're used it it. It's a combination of noteblocks/arrows to get the warden distracted into portals, having it chase you on the nether roof for long distance travel, and pearl hangs to safely teleport away from the warden on dimension load. I believe warden stuff was in the 2nd or 3rd to last VOD in the playlist of all the footage I linked in the description

Did you know there is a secret advancement that ISN'T required to get the "Advancement Legend" achievement?
It requires gathering a stack of netherite blocks...

I want to find out what the theoretical best time would be for speedrunning this. You took 171 hous, but a nice limit I know would be the 100 days achievement, but it may take longer
Yeah I built a house and stuff too lol, -20 hours. The theoretical limit would be the 365 day advancement, but you cant sleep every night because of thunder and certain advancements so it gets a little complicated...
I'm actually trying a run in 1.16.1 currently on twitch to beat the BAC World Record of 98 hours by selmaganicc! Should be fun to push things further

I didn't do it in this run as it's a hidden advancement, not needed for the 100% "Advancement Legend" completion. It's super easy just way too many hours flying on the nether roof, so I'm definitely glad it's not needed lol

The Modified Jungle Edge advancement is a legacy advancement, it is unobtainable and therefore hidden, not being required for Advancement Legend, which is considered the completion of the pack

How do You get the Captain America achievement? I tried dying in powdered snow but it didnt work, how do You get it?
Just need a resistance/regen beacon and you can sit in it for the full 20 mins no danger

I was using this datapack, but it so laggy. Can I have your mods folder ?
This was played in 1.19, while the latest version is 1.20, so while I can't offer a full mods folder, some recommended mods on Fabric Loader are: Sodium (performance), Lithium (performance), and AdvancementInfo (helps track advancements better). In general try to keep render distance low as you can tolerate to reduce lag, I kept my RD at 16 generally and went up to 24 when I was exploring and needed to see more around me
The mod I use for the timer in game if you like that is SpeedrunIGT, and I used an Advancement Screenshot mod to automatically capture when I complete an advancement. It's a pretty cool way to track progress when paired together

There's an official add-on that swaps death to damage. It's been a while now but I think I did it because few people beat it on hardcore and I'm experienced enough to not die
HOW you do "Good Luck getting this one" Advancement?
I didn't do it in this run as it's a hidden advancement, not needed for the 100% "Advancement Legend" completion. There are setups to do it it's just a specific order of things. I can link you to resources on the setup to use if you want

There's an official add-on datapack for Hardcore that changes death advancements to damage advancements for Hardcore. It's on the Planet Minecraft page for BAC

Pearl in unloaded chunks, get hit by levitation under y64, raise render distance to pearl to world height

1. all VODs (my full uncut streams) are in the full playlist in the description, I believe a few are specifically named after certain super challenges and the last few vods have plenty of super challenges.
