still love to watch this, 5 years later, still love how the wheel looks to for some reason ahahha, iv built up my rig simalur to yours over the years, not sure if you remember offering me a free aftermarket wheel just had to cover shipping, but never managed to save enough and then forgot ahah, iv got a t300 base with a billet adapter and a VMS quick release, its like the slimline but very solid and zero play,. (roughly 60$ USD) and im running a DND suede rim for now, th8a shifter with few mods including stiffness 3d printed mod with plunger screws and short rod from dimsim. custom ebrake from g27 pedals and a set of fanatec v3 pedals custom inverted in wood rig,
really cool, crazy that mods still being made for rfactor

This is my dream set up for sim gaming
It seems that you may have something wrong set in your setup. It seem that there is no response what so ever when you steer. Try setting up the ingame setup steering lock to 30(or max) with the 900 deegrees of rotation. if you havent already.
Steering lock in game has a huge impact on how many deegrees of rotation you have in your profiler.

Hey I was looking to get a budget sim build for newer Forza games, would you recommend the g27 base and the mod for a newer steering wheel add-on? I just wanted to know because I want a good ffb for the newer forza games, I would appreciate the response thanks.

Thanks. The Lotus wheel is the original Thrustmaster T500 wheel. I just replaced the badge with a Lotus wheel cap sticker.

How is the gear shifter modded besides the cosmetic attachments? Is it modded internally? Also what chassis System are you using because I am looking for one to support changing out the shifters as well.

I think u should increase the sensetivity of the steering in the game so u can play easily and NICE DRIVING... skills

Thanks. I'd say iRacing probably. Best wheel, sorry I don't know. There are so many high end wheels these days which I cannot afford.
have u try Forza Horizon 3 and Froza motorsport 3 (free) on pc with your setup? they seem to have alot of vehicle customization. but idk how realistic the driving is.

Np. My mistake, the free version is called Forza motorsport 6: Apex. My video card doesn't meet the specs so I can't download it :(

Oh, I've done a video of that before more than a year ago. See video B7W8RqeM7cc. I did it with a neGcon controller. I remember someone complaining, triple screen and using a controller blah blah too. *sigh*. The neGcon controller is cool, especially for Ridge Racer ;-)

It is not so realistic, because that car had a mechanic steering, and in a race never needs to make more than 90° rotation
With older cars and more basic rack configurations, they needed more than just 90 degrees to turn the car enough for these roads. This old ferrari does not have a 90 degree lock to lock rack setup....

It has Momo etched on it but I'm not sure if it's genuine. I bought it used. Just search for "Logitech G27 / G25 Steering Wheel Adapter". Lots of choices around. Don't get from Chilicoke though, don't think he's selling anymore. Not sure.

Hey! i only got a g25 and a playseat. But i did get an expensive and great looking MOMO wheel. Could you tell me if it's possible to put it on? the wheel is real and made for porsche 912.

There is something seriously wrong with your steering wheel or you have never driven a car. How come in order to turn you have to turn the wheel all the way to one side? In real life you it is very rare to do more than 180 degrees steering wheel turn at high speed.
i would say that assetto corsa and project car is the best racing simulator

for rfactor and rfactor 2 how many maps downloads are there like this (free and not free) where you can just cruise a car down a custom made road? I'm thinking about purchasing the game but I want to get it not for more track racing but for road downloads such as this one.

+YipZone just in case you didn't know what I was asking, is there plenty of maps you can download for rfactor and rfactor 2 that are not race tracks but instead just roads to drive on.
Talmadge Fisher Yes, eg. in rfactorcentral, rfactor tracks, look under Temporary Circuits. rF2 prob less. I've not played much rF2 at all. Some good roads; Glava Zete, Targa Florio, Iriski Venac, Subida a Chantada, Shomaru Pass, Peyregrosse etc.
