    Here before video quality changes are available. Feels good.
    Ginyu Force is basically impossible to escape from past Guldo, NGL. Recoome can launch himself across the map in two moves, and Jeice/Burter is just that damn fast. Doesn't matter how much you kill them, you're just bringing your downfall quicker because they still get their Area Destruction, meaning the faster you kill them, the more resources they deny you, setting you in a catch 22 where you either take the risk of letting Ginyu become unstoppable, or trying to nip the problems in the bud only for it to hand them the ultimate snowball because nobody can get past LVL2 from the lack of resources.
    Not to mention you literally NEED all 7 Dragon Balls to wish for a LVL4 Survivor due to how the game's melee system works, making "grant my allies power" even more of an obsolete choice against Ginyu.
    I like how they play, but I feel like there's a lot of issues with a Raider that's guaranteed LVL4, unlike Vegeta who only gets to LVL3, and can still be reliably fought at the end of the match.
    Damned if you key rush because you'll then have to fight the Raider, and a smart one will let you kill them just to advance in level. This whole "rewarded for losing" crap kinda grinds my gears when you got Raiders like Cell who are left obsolete due to their inability to keep up with the ever-growing toolbelt of players, or Buu who literally get stuck at LVL1/LVL2 80% of the time.

      You know, initially I thought Vegeta was broken, but I was wrong. Nappa is just super annoying what with people planting Saibamen on corpses and nobody actually caring when an ally falls. Vegeta is actually pretty balanced aside from that one move.
      This, on the other hand, is ridiculous. I am of the mindset while playing games that if you lose, you shouldn't be rewarded for it. While there is a penalty towards Ginyu when losing a member, the benefits greatly outnumber the penalties. 3 areas destroyed, all their resources with them, a near requirement for a summon, and being able to deflect melee attacks from anyone who isn't the level 4. God help you if they come at you full force, pun intended.

    • @UltLuigi1
      @UltLuigi1 Год назад +1

      @@tedscheett9420 a lot of people don't care about when an ally dies against nappa precisely because of saibaman planting on corpses. If you don't have a senzu, you're probably not getting them up before nappa comes back, so it just wastes your time.
      And yeah I think that Ginyu's melee priority shouldn't be at 4 when everyone's dead. That's just absurd and makes it so there's no reliable way to pin him down, especially now that volley has been nerfed.

      An amazing Cell player can stomp on coordinated teams.
      An amazing Vegeta player can ensure coordinated teams stay sweaty.
      An amazing Ginyu player... can just barely stand toe-to-toe with coordinated teams. (so far)
      Ginyu's only insane because most people haven't gotten used to him.
      He hasn't been out for that long, but people are ALREADY starting to figure him out (which is A LOT shorter than it took people to figure out fighting against Vegeta).
      Unlike all other Raiders, your best bet against Ginyu is TO FIGHT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
      Guldo is dead in just a few hits.
      Recoome is only scary in mid an far range battles. Be brave enough to face him in melee and you'll win.
      Jeice and Burter are pretty balanced, but it's only their wide-spread attacks that are a threat - outside of that, they're like a Raider with no gimmick (yes, they have options, but they're like nerfed versions of the other Raiders).
      Ginyu... Ginyu is only as strong as you let him be. If you didn't kill the other Ginyu Force members, obviously he'll trounce you and will seem much stronger than all of the other Raiders. But if you killed AT LEAST ONE, he'll be a lot more manageable. Kill two, and he'll feel like a fair fight. Kill three..... well, he'll have to play smart with his Body Change to really have a chance at winning against a good team.

      @@tedscheett9420 The deflect is only once (if Recoome survives), or twice (if Jeice and Burter survive as well) - and there's a long cooldown period between. Ginyu FOLDS against well-placed ranged attacks. A combination of one person melee-ing and another firing from range will ensure this.
      The issue is the same as Vegeta: if your team isn't fighting TOGETHER, you WILL LOSE. You CANNOT SOLO GINYU, *especially* if any of the other members survive.
      And unless the Ginyu player has insane odds in their favor (four civilians in one Area for Guldo), there's no way they'll be able to destroy three Areas before people have already taken the important goods from hem.
      Just tonight, in all of my matches, no one in our team (except the newbies who don't know what in the world they're doing) was hurting for supplies. It's because people have learned to WORK FAST against the Ginyu Force. Matches are over in half the time compared to the other Raiders - for better AND for worse (you can die to Ginyu just as fast as Ginyu can die to you).
      It's SO MUCH EASIER to take down TWO Ginyu Force members compared to taking down ONE solid Nappa player.
      And when Ginyu doesn't have his buddies to help him? It's like dealing with a Level 2 Raider.

    Yeah all I can say with the ginyu force is this: THEY’RE FREAKING INSANE.
    The only chance you even have against them is to get rid of every ginyu force member because if all of them are alive and ginyu is out, it’s a lose-lose situation as he can melt your level 4 health and he’s fast enough to the point where escaping is futile

    • @mrdocena8082
      @mrdocena8082 Год назад +4

      Compared to Saibamen and Nappa though, the Ginyu Force are fairly easy to take down.
      Saibamen can latch and explode if things aren't going their way. Nappa is plenty tough on his own. And if all else fails, having Vegeta out sooner has its advantages.
      Ginyu Force, though...
      Guldo is easy to break. If you've got more than 1 Lvl 1 on him, he's toast. If you've got a Lvl 2 on him, he can die pretty fast.
      Recoome is only scary because people are afraid to get close to him. When they keep their distance, he can close it FAST and destroy them in melee. But if you go full gorilla and don't care about your change meter: you can take him down fairly quick.
      Jeice & Burter aren't impossible to deal with, since you're essentially dealing with a nerfed Frieza+Cell combo - insane range and options, but much squishier and A LOT more telegraphed. They never feel scary to fight if you're the right level.
      And Ginyu... is only insanely strong if the others are around. Without them, he's a weak Vegeta with a Body Change mechanic (which can destroy teams IF it lands --- but people are quick to pull out Barrier against him).
      Honestly, this is just the case of "He's OP because he's new and no one's figured him out yet". Similar to Vegeta. But even Vegeta is stronger than the Ginyu Force (so long as you take out at least one of them).
      Ginyu Force is nowhere near OP... but they are insanely fun to play. The fact that they're so flashy and varied in their attacks makes them addicting to play around with.

      @@mrdocena8082 You do realise that situation is ONLY possible if you have the ressources, right ? Sure, they have low health, but its not as easy as you think, ginyu will ALWAYS be guarranteed to go lvl 4, meaning you not only have to deal with killing each force member to make ginyu himself weaker, but also manage your ressources well so that the OTHER lvl's dont get to evolve as fast cause you didnt have the ressources necessary after, and mind you, thats IF your team survived, because the knockback gauge may be easy to break, it comes back REALLY fast, 5 seconds top, which means you cant even stop ginyu from finishing a surv if you needed your whole team alive in order to fight him after. If you fight ginyu, you REALLY have to make sure you know you CAN take them down, else he will just lose a member top (be it guldo or recoome), but still destroy you as ginyu, lvl 4 or not, because he has the support with jeice and burter with his super, meaning you have to time your ressources AND fights with him, else it will EASILY become a lose-lose situation.

    • @mrdocena8082
      @mrdocena8082 Год назад

      @@tueur3201 It can *easily* go either way though.
      Guldo is too squishy for Raider players to directly attack Survivors (otherwise it becomes the old Spopovich situation, but far worse) - and Ginyu players NEED Guldo in there to ensure things go easy for them.
      During Guldo's appearance, unless he's extremely lucky (4 civilians in an Area): the Survivors have plenty of time to find resources.
      Once he's down - an Area should've *already* been 70% cleared of its resources before getting destroyed.
      When Recoome comes in, Raider players will be mostly focused on fighting Survivors. So long as the Survivors stall him, another Area can be cleared of their resources.
      It's only in the Jeice and Burter stage that fighting for resources becomes problematic - *especially* if people failed to take down Guldo.
      The issue isn't the lack of resources.
      The issue is the standardized way Survivors have stuck to in finding resources.
      Since the start of the game, there have been those that focus entirely on red crates, those who only look for Dragon Balls/Radars, those who only go for Keys, and those who only care for crates (ignoring destructibles). These are necessary roles, but because people have stuck to them like glue, they haven't been able to adapt to Ginyu.
      With Ginyu, the focus should be on finding ENERGY (Dragonballs should only be handled by one person, Keys are just BEGGING Raider players to hit that Area specifically) - something most players just assume will be only worthwhile with civvies, red crates, and vending machines. Literally been seeing people IGNORE small energies in their rush to optimize their playthrough.
      I have no idea how people are only Level 1 by the time Ginyu comes down.
      I've never been NOT Level 3 by the time he appears.
      I've RARELY been only Level 2 by the time Jeice/Burter appears.
      The only thing I can imagine is that players are just stuck to meta habits that they can't adapt to new metas.
      EDIT: Another issue is the sharp increase of combat meta and escape meta builds during Season 2.
      These SEVERELY REDUCE the toolsets commonly used with gathering resources (Item Find, Listen/Scouter, Till, passives that help with traversal, etc).

    • @tueur3201
      @tueur3201 Год назад

      @@mrdocena8082 Thats where your wrong tho, Guldo SHOULDNT be your main target as a surv, Recoome and Jeice & Burter should be, Recoome because of the damage buff he gives, and Jeice & Burter due to the assist with Ginyu, whats the point of MORE health if you cant FIGHT ? Ginyu's main attack comes from Jeice & Burter with Recoome, as they WILL destroy you, so killing those 2 off makes Ginyu WAY weaker than with killing Guldo, as he is not that much of a threat, since he is TOO slow and and has basically NO RANGE when it comes to patrolling, you'd basically have to stand next to him and HOPE he sees them, otherwise, Ginyu's main DPS is from having a fuck ton of damage due to Recoome, and the fact his super becomes UNVANISHABLE with the support of Jeice & Burter, so letting Guldo live to kill off the other 2 is the better option, since you'll be able to get ressources early on to fight the lvl 2 and 3.

    My assumption, they just released the main villians from every big arc to compensate everyones inner impulse of fan Favorites. Then they start from the First arcs to last arcs side villians or just Main villians of minor arcs with with allies and/or many forms in chronologicial order for more variation between the villians/Raiders.
