I grew up here, so many memories. It’s just the most beautiful place. Blue Lake would have been worth a look for you. Stunning and now a days you can’t drive in so it’s a decent walk but really worth it. Absolutely worth having a 4wd as the beach south of Main Beach is just spectacular also. Great job showing it. Personally I prefer camping at Point Lookout. Did you have midges at Amity? That’s what I remember.
Yes Blue Lake would have been amazing to visit. We certainly did everything we could with the van 😜 a 4wd at main beach sounds fun. Point Lookout would have been good it was more expensive than Amity Point but the location is better. We loved the sunsets at Amity point and it was quiet to which was nice 😍 no we didn’t notice the midges ☺️
We definitely were not expecting the koala!! That was the only time we seen him though. Straddie was awesome and hopefully we can visit some more islands off QLD. Hope you guys are enjoying the Blue Mountains 😀😀

Apparently it’s because pure rainwater is tinged brown by the native tea trees and bushlands 😀
