He's letting her know who the most important woman in his life is, and it isn't the fiance. The friend will spend their entire marriage trying to drive a wedge between them if she's allowed to stay in his life. I'd walk away from the whole situation. Let them have each other

This is a no-brainer. Not only are you uninvited but you're no longer allowed to be friends. Husband and best friend are definitely screwing each other or have in the past

Some women will stay in a relationship like this because they don't want to other woman (the bestie, in this case) to "win". But if your PARTNER isn't choosing YOU, trust me, you're not gaining anything. Let the bestie win - she's not winning much.

Seems like there is more there..the entire relationship would be over for me.

Not just not in the bridal shower, uninvited from the wedding, and we would no longer be friends.

No one is without insecurities and for the bride to be to have to deal with this is just wrong. Groom to be is either blind (stupid) for putting the friend above his fiancé...and that's the beginning of the end. Also the friend has just proven she is not a friend to him. Kristin is correct...but too late now, in that the first time the bride heard of this should have resulted in a talk between the three of them for the friend to explain herself. Not many things worse in a relationship than for one partner to feel they are not the priority. Also, as soon as the groom put his foot down and said if this "friend" was uninvited there would be no wedding....Bye bye, I'm outta there.

Let's be honest here, if talking mess behind the bride's back is an uninvite and removal from the bridal party... Then there would never be a bridal party. All bridesmaids talk mess behind the bride's back.

But are they out there saying they should be the bride? The relationship went from being two friends to someone possibly working behind the scenes to end a marriage. When you lose trust, there is nothing left.

I think if she was talking crap saying she’s a bridezilla (or something like that) is way different than saying that your future husband is her soulmate. Like wtf… your soulmate???

@@cltaylor8490 There is a difference in the level of violation. Going 10 miles over the speed limit is what this woman was doing.. I was pointing out that in a typical female friendship (not only when the bride is being bridezilla), at least one of the women is going 5 miles over the limit. Not a huge violation but a violation either way

@@the_mum I agree with you. It's bad to a very high level. But I'm just pointing out that a typical female friendship has "trash talking" behind the back.
