Great information. I've had my cruiser for a few months now and although i don't get to ride as often as i want, I have found that the more I ride the less foot movements i make as you mentioned. Its been an overall great time learning to ride!!

One tip to get a better feeling riding switch exspecally at the beginning, ride in a mini ramp or half pipe. Ride up and come down fakie and so on. Thanks to Thomas Kienle for that tip, that helped me alot.

I really want to learn riding switch but that's nearly starting from the beginning a second time.

Have fun! You only get to learn twice. Once normal, and once switch!!

Hi there. I got my new Dragan Crusier 2 weeks ago and riding regular works meanwhile... Lets say it...okay 😄 but when would you recommend to swith the stance? Right at the beginning or later when im more used to the board and the motion?
    Greets from Germany 😉

Do you mean riding in switch stance? You should give it a go right away! It can be quite challenging so just take it slow and maybe just put in a little bit of switch practice to go along with your normal stance. Practicing a bit of switch stance will ultimately help your regular stance so definitely worth investing a bit of time.

When the speed picks up on a downhill, I always feel a bit unstable and easily losing control. Any special techniques on turning/controlling on downhills?

The boring answer is time and practice. The more time on your board, the more stable and confident you will feel.
If you do happen to come upon a big hill, the best way to control your speed is to do the widest turns possible. You can even turn almost a complete 180 to face up the hill and bring yourself to a complete stop if you need to step off.
We would recommend practicing going as fast as you can on a flat surface. This is going to help you control your speed gradually and at the same rate that you’re building muscle memory for riding the board. Don’t forget that once you’ve built up your top speed, let the board coast and feel what it’s like to turn without using the standard accelerating motion of a streetboard. This will help you dial in balance and also let your body figure out its own natural preferences for stability when at speed.
      ✌🏻

@@DraganBoards Thank you so much for the detailed reply! Will practice more.
If possible, I would love to see more video of you guys cruising in the streets, ideally from a 2nd person holding the camera, so we could learn how you guys react to different terrains/features on urban streets!
