- This review is based on six years ownership of the product. It has been excellent throughout the time I've owned it and it has never let me down.
Some people cant get out and walk about like that once used to.
So I make these videos for people who cant get out, so they too can see and explore the outdoors environment from the comfort of their homes.

Really sorry that I didn't catch on to you while you were still doing these. Honest, meaningful and real. I am a 59 year-old Brit living, hiking and camping in Norway and this sort of video, from somebody who really knows what they are talking about and doesn't seem to be pandering to the companies for financial or gear gain is all-too difficult to find these days. Hope that you are still enjoying the great British outdoors, and if you fancy a Norwegian excursion, drop me a line, only leave it a while as I've still got 2ft of snow in the garden.
Just ordered the sf2 and future plans on building up the whole set. Thanks for the info. 👍
Thank you for this video! You literally are the only person I could find that shows the expanda panel works with the SF series of bags... not even snugpak shows that! I really appreciate your real world user approach. Keep up the great work
Thanks for watching the video. We've got some camps planned for after lockdown. Hopefully it'll be cold enough to use the whole system.
@@cleoburywalks1286 quick question for you: did you need the right or left hand expanda to work correctly with the SF bags? Did you only get 1 weight (summer vs winter)?
@@JoelCaseyJonesMusic they have panels for centre zip.
I'm a new subscriber to your channel and appreciate you explaining and give your experiences with the snugpak sf sleep system thank you
Thank you for commenting. I love the versatility of the SF Sleep System. It's all the sleeping bags I will ever need.
great realistic video my friend ;) I liked the part where you say "my favourite thing to be is warm" haha. many thanks
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
Really good, please go through your cooking kit too!
Thanks for watching. I will run through my cooking kit shortly. I've got a short video on my pillow releasing today.
Much appreciated: it's always good to hear from somebody who has put the gear through its paces.
Thanks for the comment. I'm gearing up for a camp soon and will be so glad of this sleep system. Thanks for watching.
@@cleoburywalks1286 Hope it goes well. I have ordered it for me this winter!
Great review being a big lad exactly what I needed to know Reg, the size of the expanda panel.... was thinking of going for the Tactical 4
I'm glad the video was what you needed. The whole system is brilliant. Thanks for watching.
Comprehensive review Stu and a great style of delivery bud. Looking forward to your other reviews. ATB Andy
Thanks buddy, it was a very different experience.
Hey brother: just wondering which hand zip you bought for the expanda? I just grabbed a SF bag and want to give that a try as well. Cheers!
My SF bags have central zips like military issue bags. You can attach the zip baffle on either side of the expander panel. The expander panels are specific to the SF bags.
@@cleoburywalks1286 they make expandas specific to the SF bags? I only have seen right or left hand zip expandas. Do you have a contact to source the correct expanda panel? Thanks!
@@cleoburywalks1286 hey mate, thanks for all your help. I’ve just picked up an SF1 and SF bivvi thanks to you and @hippyswift. Would you do me a favor and sub at a new channel I’m launching. Here’s a teaser for the channel:

I am considering buyig the SF 2 only and not the full system. does it work well enough o its own or is it better to get the full set
It's brilliant on its own.
