- It seemed like a good idea at the time but it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped 😢 The roti is fine. The Cheddar cheese was why it failed. I think Cheshire would better (as long as it doesn't vanish mid smile 😸)

@Tee-wo7bm Rhubarb on its own is fantastic. I think I used the wrong kind of cheese on this one.

@suekaufmanMI58 Still room for improvement and experimentation. I'm wondering if I can make the dough in my stand mixer? Puy's batches are too big for a home mixer, but I only make enough for 10 roti.
@@Poliss95 I believe Puy does it without a mixer because it develops gluten or does something to the dough that is not in it's best interest. Perhaps a smaller chunk rolled thinner? Boppy how long does it take altogether to make the dough?

I thought perhaps if this is a dessert dish, the cheese might be a neutral one such as farmer cheese or ricotta or cream cheese.
@ellenspear50 I think a sharp cheese would go well with tangy rhubarb. Cheddar is too mild, although the flavour did improve when I heated it up in the zapper. 😂
