Westfield New market is a shopping centre in New market, a central suburb of Auckland, New Zealand. The centre initially opened in the 1980s; in early 2018, the centre closed for a major re-build and expansion; it re-opened in August 2019 after an 18 month closure. The centre is located at 277 Broadway and, since expansion, 309 Broadway; it offers a mix of local and international brands. It’s a great spot for fashion, dining, and entertainment.
Superb food court, possibly the best in Auckland, though we only managed to sample meals from 3 vendors despite finding them all very appealing.
The Carvers is awesome, St Pierres sushi and seafood is fresh and always a delight but O&Bowl was a refreshingly different outlet. Donburi styled bowls of rice, salad, cooked chicken or stir fried vegetables was so good I had it twice. Highly recommended are the teriyaki mixed vegetables on brown rice with extra teriyaki dressing.
