WOW! I was born during an eclipse, too.. My Moon is with Rahu in libra and my Sun is with mercury and Ketu in Aries. I mean.. I always had family problems and since 4 years old i started living with my grandparents. My relationship with my mom and dad is so turbulent and confused, but i see them sometimes, quite often actually.. So, i feel that everything in my childhood happend for the better, because everything happens for a reason, at least that's what i believe. But yes, this whole thing about being born during an eclipse is true.. I once did a chart of a woman whose father left family as soon as she was born because the doctors told both him and the woman's mother that they were infertile years before that. They both had been married to different people previously and got divorced because they couldn't have children. When they met, they both had medical records which said they are infertile and they would never be able to have children. But then he got her pregnant very quickly. When my client was born, her father left because he firmly believed he was infertile and his wife must have conceived with another man. My client never met her father until she was 18 and able to find him. They did a paternity test and it was a perfect match, so he indeed is her father. But he still never contacted her after that. She was born on a Lunar Eclipse where Sun was with Rahu and Moon with Ketu.

I have rahu in swati. Mostly i am in illusion.. But i think rahu keeps me going on as it is the only grah in my horoscope which is in its own nakshatra .. I have eclipse in my navamsa chart, and im not married yet. In my navamsa, I have a less than 1 degree conjunction of Rahu+Moon in Cancer ascendant, and 20 degrees far conjunction of Sun+Ketu in Capricorn, 7th house. I don't have eclipse happening in my birth chart, but I do have Rahu+Jupiter conjunction in Pisces in 3rd house! Unfortunately I'm hearing and reading tons of negative stuff about having eclipse in birth charts, but can't find much about having it in divisional charts :/ Plus, I'm not related to any of the effects of having eclipse. My parents are my birth parents lol and they're absolutely lovely, very caring and always supportive of me :) But because I have eclipse in my Navamsa chart, I'm genuinely worried of the second half of my life, and if I could ever meet someone special, get married or even have a good relationship :/ I just don't want to be left alone when everyone else is surrounded with their own family and kids! I do want to take care of my family, being supportive and take responsibilities etc. Does anyone have similar placements with me?? In terms of retrograde planets, there would be greater introspection, more internal work, deeper integration if the ruling planet is well disposed. If not, deeper internal confusion as to the meaning of external situation and more obstruction as to its resolution. As that planet is retorgrade, it would be exceptionally strong.

I love interviews with Michael. I have been watching his interviews at Kapiel's channel as well as Ryan's channel. However, I would like to ask Micahel (if he reads this comment) about the kind of mash between the systems of astrology. I noticed that Michael uses the tropical system with vedic astrology, but Kapiel is strictly sidereal. So won't the interpretation of placements in one's chart drastically change between the two systems?
+boundless The essence underlying both systems is sidereal Nakshatras. VImshottari, used by most astrologers, is a Nakshatra Dasa. At the foundation, both systems are the same. Additionally, there are many different vargas. What doesn't show in the Rasi chart may surface in another varga. Plus, please keep in mind that regardless, the planets are always forming the same angle. From experience and feedback, I have found the same thing being said by both systems. Sometimes one system will extract information that the other doesn't. But this is not a matter of contrast, but rather complement. Actually in terms of my own personal philosophy. I don't believe there is a correct and incorrect. Both systems are amazingly accurate. And I actually have been known to use both in my interpretations. I think we all need to be focusing on Nakshatras more and we can find that we are ultimately using, at least on one level, the same system. The nakshatras are profound!

But because I have eclipse in my Navamsa chart, I'm genuinely worried of the second half of my life, and if I could ever meet someone special, get married or even have a good relationship :/ I just don't want to be left alone when everyone else is surrounded with their own family and kids! I do want to take care of my family, being supportive and take responsibilities etc.

Michael, is there any different/special effect if the Lord of rahu or ketu is retrograde?
also I have seen some astrologers declare retrograde planets as though giving effect from previous house too... so say for example : ketu in libra, venus in Pisces retrograde. .could it be considered as 5th from ketu ?
+Garett E. It would still be considered as 6th from Ketu. In terms of retrograde planets, there would be greater introspection, more internal work, deeper integration if the ruling planet is well disposed. If not, deeper internal confusion as to the meaning of external situation and more obstruction as to its resolution. As that planet is retorgrade, it would be exceptionally strong.

i have debilitated sun with rahu in leo.I guess this position too leads to eclipse of the sun,as I've never really had a relation with my father,infact he was a source of constant anxiety for me,throughout my childhood.But I guess it all happens for a reason :)

I love interviews with Michael. I have been watching his interviews at Kapiel's channel as well as Ryan's channel. However, I would like to ask Micahel (if he reads this comment) about the kind of mash between the systems of astrology. I noticed that Michael uses the tropical system with vedic astrology, but Kapiel is strictly sidereal. So won't the interpretation of placements in one's chart drastically change between the two systems?
+boundless The essence underlying both systems is sidereal Nakshatras. VImshottari, used by most astrologers, is a Nakshatra Dasa. At the foundation, both systems are the same. Additionally, there are many different vargas. What doesn't show in the Rasi chart may surface in another varga. Plus, please keep in mind that regardless, the planets are always forming the same angle. From experience and feedback, I have found the same thing being said by both systems. Sometimes one system will extract information that the other doesn't. But this is not a matter of contrast, but rather complement. Actually in terms of my own personal philosophy. I don't believe there is a correct and incorrect. Both systems are amazingly accurate. And I actually have been known to use both in my interpretations. I think we all need to be focusing on Nakshatras more and we can find that we are ultimately using, at least on one level, the same system. The nakshatras are profound!

The Nakshatras give the meaning. But, we are encountering it within physical incarnation. That is a matter for the Bhavas, which are connected to the Rasis.
