    I bought a package of those snacking peppers for my dog a few years back. That little turkey LOVES them and takes him to "His spot" in the living room. Seeds EVERYWHERE. Awhile back instead of picking them up and throwing them in the garbage, I planted the seeds....I got hundreds of plants. Grew them out and I got lunch box peppers. I think I got lucky with the brand of peppers. I save the seeds every year from that first batch and plant them every year. Was a fun and profitable experiment.

    Just started growing these little Lunchbox sweet peppers. Thanks for the info. The red bullhorns are great chopped and stir fried with bacon and eggs for breakfast. If you can stir fry a little kale or English spinach too, that's a bonus. Thanks for posting. Agree with your traumatic childhood experience, food has to be cooked properly. I once ate half cooked Brussels sprouts, oh the stomach ache. My boo boo. My suffering was Spam, my parents loved it, and that was the time when you ate what was served.

    I spray a little Olive oil on my Lunchbox peppers, a dash and salt, pepper and grill them just long enough to get some good grill marks on them. If over cooked, they'll get mushy.

    Great tips! Peppers are our favorite thing to grow in our garden... next to tomatoes of course! :) Peppers are cool because they come in so many colors, flavors, and spice-levels. While we love spicy, we also love all the sweet peppers that we grow from our seed. :)

    Very informative. I’m looking for a high yield sweet peeper since I am limited on growing space. I think I will try those lunch box peppers. Thanks for the info!

    I’m so jealous of your lot space you have a beautiful plot of land do you grow to sell or just for personal eating because it seems some of your stuff grows so well that you would have too much for a family of six LOL I was wondering if you have a full-time job or is this your job self-sufficient? Even though there are small if you hollow them out you can fill them with rice and meat and tomato sauce and have a nice stuffed mini pepper!

    I have bought green bell peppers at a grocery store when they were on sale for 3 for a dollar and I ate 2 of them the same night that I bought them and they didn't taste sweet, How can you grow green bell peppers that will be sweet?

    • @BlablaAli
      @BlablaAli 4 года назад +2

      most of the green bell peppers from grocery stores are actually red bell peppers picked when they are unripe. that's why they taste like unripe peppers

    will they grow from store bought peppers

    • @herrleshomeofmagnificentme2229
      @herrleshomeofmagnificentme2229 6 лет назад

      Danny Pool yes they will. Lots of people say they won't but just germinate them in a paper towel and sandwich bag keep them warm and they will germinate. Although they are not the same peppers as the mother plant because they are a hybrid

    • @FlashToso
      @FlashToso 5 лет назад

      Seems green peppers aren't fully ripe so seeds won't grow. Won't hurt to try.

    Pepper plants don't like to be planted deep from seedlings like the tomato plant. If you plant pepper seedlings deep the stem will remain thin..

    • @RawFoodMuscle
      @RawFoodMuscle 5 лет назад

      It's better to plant then as transplants cause they take a while to produce and if you seed them indoors under lights around 6 weeks before the last frost you will get faster production. Thanks for watch.
