I was 3 years in the german military and got honorably discharged when i couldnt keep going because i got shot on deployment. I was interested in everything related to guns/Military/Police my whole life and still am, especially America's since i have an american Origin. I was planning on joing the police but since i cant do that because of my physical issues after the military, i atleast have these videos. Thank you for making these videos, and thank you for your Service of protecting the People of your Country!
I want to thank all SWAT members for your outstanding service. I am wife to now retired JSO Chief, I love you all, I honor and respect you. May God bless you and keep you safe. new sub here, jax fla.
I don't know if you guys will ever see this comment but I just wanted to let you know I wasn't having one of my best days today & I opened up RUclips to search for a song and this video came up as the first video on my home screen so I clicked on it & I can honestly say after watching this video this made my day so much better :) thanks for all you do guys I will be sure to subscribe & continue to watch now that I found this channel!
Thank you very much for your kind words! My father is a retired lieutenant so I naturally know of the hard work & dedication & sacrifices & risks that police officers take all for the sake of others, but to see this channel & these videos it really makes me incredibly happy as now more and more people can also see how great our nation's police officers are. Thank you so much for your amazing work and really going above & beyond making a difference and connecting with the general public like this. I definitely look forward to seeing more! Stay safe guys & gals :)
Epic Hockeyplayer it definitely did thank you I appreciate it! I honestly didn't even know channels like this existed so I feel it may have been a little more than a "coincidence" that this channel happened to come up on my home page on that exact day lol
Officer gulls is a pretty good film maker. good camera work, explained really well, was entertaining and i found his use of the swat truck as a backdrop to be pretty clever where it said city of miami police department. really good ending scene. would mistake him for a professional.
more than half of them served in the military. that is where they respect comes from. no respect they will make you do push ups for 3 days straight or until you cry blood. xD
Sgt. Pla! I know that guy from the 841st ENG BN Army Reserves in Perrine, FL. Glad to see that he is still a police officer and doing well. Thanks to all police officers that serve and protect us.
Man I would love to do what you do ! I’m in the hiring process now for my county’s sheriffs office hoping to get more experience and some extra training for swat try outs when the opportunity comes
Its great to get an insight in to how the SWAT Team of the Miami Police Department work, touch wood nothing bad happens, but if it does, I am sure the public of Miami would be in good hands, when responding to any number of potential threats that could occur, I am not a police officer, I work in the Security industry right now, but my local armed response team did a video, and it was good to also learn things that as a civilian you might now know, I know it sounds unimportant, but its always interesting to learn the ins and outs, small details like why they have massive yellow things attached to their vest (zip ties - act as spare handcuffs) each officer has an individual firearm just for them, aswell as the relevant safety checks before each and every patrol, I guess this is routine for normal police officers in the states lol, but in the UK, only a small part of the Police is Armed, and from what I have heard from Armed Police Officers in the UK, and seen from videos like this, its very competitive to get in to this side of the Police, one thing I thought from this specific video is that most of the Swat Team are ex mil, nothing wrong with that, I am just wondering if normal officers can still work their way up in to this side of the PD, or if its pretty rare for that to be the case? anyway keep up the good videos, not many other police departments do what this one does with the vlogs, Its new & it works, so keep up the good work, give it a few more years, and anybody worth their salt will be doing this, not only do you engage with your local community, you engage with the world, and basically show why your PD seems to be one of the best out there. 10/10 keep it up.
@@anwarnesbitt5636 Not breaking laws since your fellow officers would never turn you in huh? I get it...wink wink.😘 Well, keep that blue line nice and shiny buddy and all your crooked brothers safe. 👺
What's up MPD, currently going through the police academy and stepping forward to receiving my associates and bachelors here in Tennessee and moving to Miami for my wife to attend the university. Hopefully I can get on at yall's PD and SWAT team. Take care
I'm VERY interested in what actual MOS's those swat members were, and if any of them had CAR ribbons. If you could get that information and let me know I'd really appreciate it!
It's because some guys don't mind it, while others do. You'll notice that by some people in both Tactical teams, along with undercover/Vice units will wear those bananas like you can see in the video to make sure no gang banger tries to track them down. Most state & federal TAC teams and Vice units do the same. It ends up being whatever the officer's choice is. Some guys are just fine with their name being put around because they think no one would ever actually go after them while some hide their name, face, etc just to make sure no one goes after them, even if they've done nothing wrong and they're just 'safety freaks'
FutureKC LEO When dealing with high-end threats such as dealing with drug-cartels or the mob, anonymity is necessary. Once these dangerous criminal organizations (and sometimes even lower-end criminals) discover the names/identities of those involved in acts against them, acts of revenge and/or threats/blackmail will occur.
Alan Sohn we have a bunch of small municipalities that also have their swat team (Miami Beach, Gables and Hialeah) Since there’s mutual aid (like Nick mentioned in one of their K9 blogs) if the SHTF they can provide assistance
Cody Jäger you need to be a police officer with some hands in experience and it's usually a couple years before you can apply then u go to swat school to be promoted
hey guys awesome idea doing a vlog, great cool thing for community relations as well. thanks for serving and protecting guys. quit arresting people for weed though, common guys weed is cool
Awesome video series, there have been several attempts for vloging from the police, but this is an exception level - informative, engaging and slick editing. :)
Don't listen to Boxin, he doesnt know what he is talking about. Yes they wear a form of seatbelt that attaches to their back, 3 on each side of the helicopter so it can carry 6 members. You can see them if you pause at 09:09.
An Aimpoint Micro is not an holographic sight... Also that sight is mounted unusually way back on that top rail. Any specific reason why it's not mounted above the ejection port as per usual?
I'm VERY interested in what actual MOS's those swat members were, and if any of them had CAR ribbons. If you could get that information and let me know I'd really appreciate it!

You're saying its unprofessional to maintain and drill a fully staffed SWAT Team? The experience needed, the level of maturity, the level of knowledge, and dedication is probably as professional as it gets.

Hello fellow William 👋
You guys have a GTA IV "Annihilator"!? (10:30) That's awesome! xD exact copy too
+Jay Neil Really...
The Annihilator is a BlackHawk DAP which is a Special forces Helicopter fitted with two 30mm cannons, Hellfires and Air-Air Missiles
Seriously? It's a U.S. Customs and Border Protection Blackhawk UH-60.
I thought that too
No gta copied it.
Thank you for your service and community too

Update? It's been 3 years
2:55 bullet holes on the floor, what someone do a desk pop or something?
More than likely it was something bolted to the floor I'm guessing..
Hangtown Gunner yea bullets wouldn't go that deep. It's a drilled hole
guys its a "the other guys" reference
Come on, we all know that's definitely not real ;)
Pr0xy congratsss

Kinda wish the SWAT Officer had his own blog channel. Would sit here all day watching haha

Thankyou 😊🙏🏼
