Once again, your videos have a shelf life of...forever. I bought these LED lights back in the winter (after watching this for the first time) but just swapped them out. It took longer to walk out to my pole barn than it did to install the LED’s. Big improvement for a small price. 🎯
💥 Previous generation Kubotas used the same bulb. When I got my new BX23S I simply transferred the LEDs I had in my BX25 to my new machine. You really shined in this vid! Great idea 💡 Keep on tractoring! 👍
Thanks very much for all your hard work on this upgrade. I ordered these lights for my Polaris Ranger & my new JD 2035D. You have great videos and you are very educational.

Hey Courtney, Just want to give you a heads up on the product that you're endorsing, the LED bulbs for the cab lights create RF Radio interference if you have 2 way communications set up in your cab, I found out today after turning on lights and immediately noticed that the squelch on the radio immediately opened up and received transmission were unreadable, swapped out back to halogen that came with the tractor and no issues.. US Coast guard has a notice out for the same issues on marine VHF bands with radio interference from LED lights.. most don't have communications in their tractors but those that do should be aware of this issue. Hope this helps
Thanks for the video. I don’t see the JD 770 model in any of the comments. Guessing it is the same as close models but thought I would try to confirm before ordering.
I have a JD 4200. Would like a video on replacing grill and the headlight assembly. Also all lights won’t work . Hope to see a video on that. You have very good videos.
Great video and information. I was going to buy a set to replace my headlights on my 2038r (2022 MY) through one of your links. However, When I click the link on this video for these bulbs it takes me to an Amazon where there are 2 different bulbs and it doesn't say which one is due my application. Which one do I buy?

My 2011 JD 3720 takes the 90* 50W in the hood lights and takes a 90* 37.5W in the cab work lights. I would think a person could run the 50W 90* bulbs in all the lights and be fine since they are LED but I’m going to do some further research. Good stuff though on the lights! I enjoy the info.

On the new 2025r, what is the LED replacement bulb for the JD Aux Front Light Kit LVB25546? Although the light looks different than the OEM Fender Light, does it use the replacement LED bulb?
I just installed the JD LVB25546 Aux Forward Lighting Kit on my 2020 2025R and the fender LED bulb replacement noted in your posting works perfectly on the lights in this kit. Cheers!

Are you sure that the 2014 and older 1025R uses the same bulbs in the fender AND the headlights? Look at your Amazon links in the "show more" section above. The Head light points to the same Amazon item as the Fender light. Thank you so much for this video - it is very useful!
Links are in the description of the video for the correct model years. However, easy to tell if you pull out your light bulb and see what it looks like. Only take a quick second to do.
@@GoodWorksTractors Thanks for the quick reply! You caught me out pulling the bulbs to check. My 2014 1025r tractor still has the original bulbs and although they look very similar, they are not the same. They are Vosla halogen bulbs and made in Germany. The headlight is a 28056 Vosla 886 12.8 volt 50 Watt bulb and the Fender is a 28059 Vosla 862 12.8 volt 37.5 watt bulb. The headlight actual glass bulb is a little bigger with a little longer filament inside the glass bulb than the fender glass bulb which explains the higher wattage for the headlight. It is also a little brighter although the reflectors are very different. The black bulb holders are, however, identical. My guess is that the LED replacement listed in your "show more" comments would work for both BUT either the fender light would be brighter or the Headlight would be weaker than Deere intended. Do you have another conversion source you could check?
I don’t think I saw what was wrong in this video or missing unless it was a battery issue like a bracket, or you’re always talking about clean all were clean but the kubota and one John Deere other than that I missed it also thought a light bracket was loose or something but I didn’t notice what it was. Have a question though do you know what the D series takes for the LED upgrade?
I haven't used them enough to give a technical opinion. From purely a resale opinion, they are bad investment. Too much depreciation from what I've seen. Sorry, I couldn't be of more help.
Maybe. The problem is that most folks that buy new don't think they should depreciate that much (therefore their asking price tends to be too high), so all depends on the deal that you find.
Any chance that anyone knows which bulb will fit a 2210? I have had her for a long time, but she is still reliable and cannot justify the cost of upgrading her to something newer. LED bulbs would sure make a big difference!
I bet it was forgetting to include a headlight comparison on one of the tractors. I am absolutely laughing hysterically on the inside (I am being careful so as to allow to sleeping dogs lie instead of keeping me up while they 'make fools of themselves' being as they have no car to pull out of the garage and park in a different garage which a beautifully wonderful way to keep it family friendly).
Like to get my brother some LED lights for his year 2000, model 4300 JD tractor, is there an LED light I can get for this year and model? Thanks in advance.
@@GoodWorksTractors Ok will do. Loving my 2032R.I actually asked you some questions by email, so glad I got the 2032 instead of the 2025. My first year with the tractor and bought a plow with it. In Alton, New Hampshire and got dumped on with about 30 inches of snow recently. So thankful for the tractor this year. Have a great holiday season Courtney!!!!!!!!
Hey Courtney - I just got a 60" John Deere plow blade for my X758 and I got the Heavy Hitch UHMW cutting edge that you used in a video. My question is, being I am new to the plowing world, what level do you place the skid shoes at? I have a smooth blacktop driveway, but the road I live on is like a 20 grit sand paper. Very rough indeed! I am thinking you place the shoes just a bit above the cutting edge level, so when the cutting edge wears a bit, the plow slides along the cutting edge and the shoes together and wears evenly from that point forward? I used the plow one time on my driveway, and I can see where it definitely wore a small amount with the skid shoes set about 1" to 1.5" above the cutting edge. Just want to maximize the life of both the shoes and cutting edge. Thanks in advance for your help!
Yeah, I mean a lot of guys just take the skid shoes right off when plowing paved surfaces. However, you want the blade slightly above the plowing surface on gravel.
I just bought a 3025e 2020 and it has not got delivered yet but I want to order the led bulbs. What type bulb do I need to order ? What’s the bulb number ?
@@GoodWorksTractors Having read the previous posts from people who had replaced their tractor's amber warning light bulbs (typically a #1156) with LEDs, I saw that most of them had reported hyper-flashing and/or a dashboard warning when the LED bulbs were installed without load resistors. I have a 2018 1025R and decided to replace the #1156 incandescent bulbs with LEDs with a compatible base. I also ordered a pair of inline load resistors that are designed for use with LEDs. While I was at it, I ordered LED replacements for the two dual-brightness #1157 tail/brake bulbs. I am pleased to report that, at least in my 2018 1025R tractor, the amber LEDs work fine without the installation of the in-line load resistors. The LEDs are much brighter than the #1156 bulbs they replaced, and they flash 2 - 3 times per second which is excellent for warning lights. Also, I get no dashboard messages. I tested this with the engine running and turning on the flashers by themselves, the flashers and the head and tail lights, and the flashers with the left and right turn signals also engaged. Everything worked perfectly with no warnings. The red LED replacements for the #1157 tail/brake light bulbs work great as well. As with the amber LEDs, the red LEDs are much brighter than the incandescent #1157 bulbs they replaced. As with all LEDs, the light emitted by the LEDs I installed is instantly on and off. That effect is much more attention-grabbing than the slower on and off effect of incandescent bulbs. The LEDs I bought are: Amber LEDs for warning flashers: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0739RCR3J/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Red LEDs for tail/brake lights: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MY4T4BU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 One note: As someone else mentioned, the solder globs on the bottom of the base of the LEDs are quite a bit thicker than on the original bulbs and at first I could not get them to seat in the bulb socket. However, the easy fix was to carefully file down the depth of the solder globs just enough so the LED's can be properly installed in the socket.
I’m in same boat... which bulbs for b2650hsdc for front headlights. I already put led floods on rear. Found some tiger lights for front of cab that will be a perfect swap. Just need to replace the god awful headlights and maybe turn signals and hazards if possible.
I’d like to put LED Headlight bulbs in my John Deere 2210 tractor. I know they are the 3 prong style however not sure how to get the existing bulb out of the assembly. It’s an 03 model.
I haven't pulled out a bulb in awhile on one of those. Figure that out first though to make sure you get the right bulb. You'll need to figure it out before you can swap them anyways, haha!
After snow blowing my driveway for the very first time with my new 1025R I decided to skip the LED bulb swap. After parking the tractor I noticed that snow had built up on the headlights but had mostly melted. Had it been nighttime, and had I installed LEDs bulbs, I’d have been stopping to clean off my headlights.
Why is the 3e series hst drive so weak, when compared to the 1r series, yet the 3pt weight capacity on 3e is almost 3x that of 1r?? What good is it being able to lift heavier implements, if it doesnt have the strength to pull them through the ground, or up a hill without touching the ground??
I just got a 3025E and previously had a 2320. Using a BB2060 box blade it has plenty of power dragging it through dirt and tree roots. Way better pulling power than my previous 2320. I have been impressed how much pulling power it has dragging the box blade.
@@98ramtough hmmm i know somebody else that has a 3025e and they are impressed with it. I wonder if they have different drive to gear ratio on the rear ends between the two models?.. I'll have to look into it
Open the hood up and see if the bulbs look like the BX23s bulbs in the video. If so, then order from the link in the video to ensure the right ones. Also, I'd love to hear back either way so that I can update the list and help others as well! Thanks for watching!
Btw, the 2nd style bulb you used is the same as a 2001 4400. I have one, it's a 37.5 hp, with a 420 loader. The tires are loaded and it's a very heavy tractor. Only complaint is that it's a tad underpowered when trying to plow or till in med speed. At times you have to drop to low and slow.

X730 lawn tractor , looking for headlights and tail lights led bulbs....
What are the turn signal/hazard bulb for a 3046r to LED
The radiator cap is not turned far enough to line up with the radiator and the over flow tank on the 4M series. John Mangas
I haven't gone over that tractor yet, so will be sure to take a look. Thanks!
sure is........................
What link for LED lights for a X748 series JD?
JOHN DEERE power 👍👍
Was wondering what is your opinion on massey Ferguson compact tractors 🤔
I haven't used them enough to give a technical opinion. From purely a resale opinion, they are bad investment. Too much depreciation from what I've seen. Sorry, I couldn't be of more help.
Good Works Tractors so they’d be a good buy second hand. The smaller Massey’s are Iseki tractors. Iseki is a good brand of Japanese tractors.
Maybe. The problem is that most folks that buy new don't think they should depreciate that much (therefore their asking price tends to be too high), so all depends on the deal that you find.
JD 790?
Do you know anyone that changed a Kioti headlight to a LED, have a DK10SE ?
I have a 2006 JD 4520 with cab--- what model LED bulbs will work for me? Thanks
Pull a bulb out and take a look to confirm, but I'm almost positive the same ones as I list in the description for the 4r Series. I'm 99.9% positive.
I bought the headlight bulbs. Did you notice that they have a fan. Should we open a cut ✂️ the dust cover .?
I demonstrate that in one of my videos. Depends on your bulbs.
I take it that these LED bulbs are not available for the 5075e series John Deere tractors?
you find anything that would work? i want to update my bulbs on my 5055e as well
Any chance that anyone knows which bulb will fit a 2210? I have had her for a long time, but she is still reliable and cannot justify the cost of upgrading her to something newer. LED bulbs would sure make a big difference!
I have a 2020 JD 4044M, which LED bulb do I need for the headlights?
For everyone reading, I will put it here as well, but I mentioned that all information is in the description of the video. I do this in all of my videos, so check that out and you might save yourself some time. I can't respond to all comments, so it'll often get you an answer quicker. Thanks for watching!

Question, are the BX series the only Kubota's that you deal with? As of now I haven't seen any for the L series, like the 4701.
I do get every size Kubota compact, but used tractors in general have been very hard to find in the last year or so.
@@GoodWorksTractors 👍, the reason why I was asking is that you've never done or at least I haven't seen any videos with add-ons or mods.
I have 2017 3039R with cab what led bulb for the cab lights and for headlights.
Thanks

3032E Led Bulbs for marker lights ?
I bet it was forgetting to include a headlight comparison on one of the tractors. I am absolutely laughing hysterically on the inside (I am being careful so as to allow to sleeping dogs lie instead of keeping me up while they 'make fools of themselves' being as they have no car to pull out of the garage and park in a different garage which a beautifully wonderful way to keep it family friendly).
What about 1023 are the bulbs for 1025r 2020 same if I have 2020 1023e
Pull a bulb out and see which one it looks like. The two styles are very different from one another.
LED headlight bulb for a 2019 835M gator?
How about 8 series tractors like 8360 rt cab lights are they the same than these?
I'm not sure, but you could pull a bulb out and check.
Why doesn't JD just use LEDs to begin with? Seems they would be more practical in the field, unless they tend to attract more insects??
On the 2032 & 2038r you disconnected the head light and did not hook back up.
Correct, but I'm thinking of something else...no one's got it yet!
Like to get my brother some LED lights for his year 2000, model 4300 JD tractor, is there an LED light I can get for this year and model? Thanks in advance.
Howdy, possibly, but I'm not sure. You'd have to pull a bulb out and see if it happens to look like one of these in the video. Merry Christmas!
I didn't see the 4010 compact tractor listed.
Yeah, I'm not sure on that tractor model. Pull out the bulbs and see if they look like those in the video.
Model # for 3043D???
LEDs for JD flashers?
Yes, but I don't know the p/ns. Check greentractortalk as several guys there have done it. Thanks!
The LEDs I bought are:
Amber LEDs for warning flashers: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0739RCR3J/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Red LEDs for tail/brake lights: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MY4T4BU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
One note: As someone else mentioned, the solder globs on the bottom of the base of the LEDs are quite a bit thicker than on the original bulbs and at first I could not get them to seat in the bulb socket. However, the easy fix was to carefully file down the depth of the solder globs just enough so the LED's can be properly installed in the socket.
What would work for 2013 jd 4720 and 2007 jd 3720?
Looking at upgrade the lights on my B2650 to LED; if anyone has any info to share with me that would help.
I’m in same boat... which bulbs for b2650hsdc for front headlights. I already put led floods on rear. Found some tiger lights for front of cab that will be a perfect swap. Just need to replace the god awful headlights and maybe turn signals and hazards if possible.
Has anyone ever put the R model fender lights on a 4044m? Wanting to do that. Thanks!
I have a 2014 1025R and your link below comes back to a pair of fog lights. what is the correct link?
It's the correct link. Please watch the video if you need visual proof. Thanks.
Did you figure out the light bulb/led swap? I have this tractor too, would be interested in putting in LEDs
@@bassman2155 I have not. I wish someone would post them. Not much information on the model 2210 unfortunately.
Yes, LED's don't generate much heat. Same thing happened to me a on a road trip in my truck a couple years back.
Value series
I just got a 3025E and previously had a 2320. Using a BB2060 box blade it has plenty of power dragging it through dirt and tree roots. Way better pulling power than my previous 2320. I have been impressed how much pulling power it has dragging the box blade.
@@98ramtough hmmm i know somebody else that has a 3025e and they are impressed with it. I wonder if they have different drive to gear ratio on the rear ends between the two models?.. I'll have to look into it
What about an older (~2005) 3320?
Should match up with the 3r Series. Just pull one of your bulbs and check that the connections look the same prior to ordering, thanks!
How about the 1023E?
Not sure yet. I haven't had one in awhile to be able to check. I'm sure someone watching has one or knows. Will hopefully find out soon.
I have a 2003 2210, how can I get a LED replacement?
Do your bulbs look like either of these shown in the video?
2012 jd 2520 leds?

Looking to put leds for my Kubota bx1880
Open the hood up and see if the bulbs look like the BX23s bulbs in the video. If so, then order from the link in the video to ensure the right ones. Also, I'd love to hear back either way so that I can update the list and help others as well! Thanks for watching!
Btw, the 2nd style bulb you used is the same as a 2001 4400. I have one, it's a 37.5 hp, with a 420 loader. The tires are loaded and it's a very heavy tractor. Only complaint is that it's a tad underpowered when trying to plow or till in med speed. At times you have to drop to low and slow.
Good to know, I'll update the list! Yes, that's a good ol' series of tractors for sure.

Don't think so
Does anybody know if the fender lights on a 2018 1025r are the same for a Mauser cab?
