Filmed from this side of the Glenn Drive crossing so the slow side gate could be in a better view and so I could have a video of this crossing from this side. Also the closest signal.has a new gate barrier. Inbound Sacramento Regional Transit Gold Line Light Rail train passes through the Glenn Drive Railroad Crossing and the Glenn/Robert G. Holderness Station which is planned to be a double platform in a few years when they install the second track through here. Also a few months ago they changed the station name from just Glenn Station to Glenn/Robert G. Holderness Station. As you see here the signals on this side at this crossing don't have any front lights due to this being a T-Intersection and no crosswalks from the other side of Folsom Blvd.
This crossing is a SACRT contractor selected mid 2000s install installed in 2005 for the extension of Gold Line phase three. Every here except the gate barriers on the signals are original from install.

One of your best vids love ur videos and I appreciate you very much
Nice! I am planning to railfan at Sacramento Sunday. What trains pass on the Sac Sub on Mondays from morning till evening?
Thanks! You should be able to catch at least four BNSF trains in that time frame but I'm not to sure these days especially since UP took the Z-Train off the line. Usually Sundays are the best days for BNSF activity on the Sac Sub for some reason. I haven't been paying attention to Mondays.
@@MobileRailSpotterRxR Reason why I wanted to ask was since the Sac Sub is getting trickier. Only intermodal I can remember for sure that takes Martinez is the IOALB.
Great video!
Im not look bus here??
