Holy eff ... and I thought my modded 600xl was a mess already (576k RAM upgrade, SIO2PC, S-Video Mod). Nothing wrong with adding stuff to boards, but this looks extremely fragile and with the stuff packed away in tape hard to know what's going on. But then again ... whatever works for you.
I know, right? It's a mess in there but in the 90s, when I made these mods, I had literally dozens of XLs. I remember being rather proud of the 'tidy' cable routing for the memory upgrade 😂
@@backroomboy4420 I can relate to that ... one of the first projects I soldered is a complete mess, yet still fully working but I'd never clean it up for nostalgia reasons.
