Hi Moncó, its as close as I can get, I like trying to keep the clod intact as much as I possibly can to help towards a more accurate test instead of digging out the hole and replacing all with lose soil etc Thanks for your kind words...mrix
Hello, many of these middle to top of the range machines do a very good job and many have their own little bonuses, I basically test different machines with the same coinage and test bed using the same depths, I am not going down the road of versus topics as they cause far too much ill feeling and versus topics are not allowed within out main forums for this reason. Best of luck...mrix
Really appreciate these vids, the time and effort will be rewarded in long term following and MDF membership if there is any justice. Have you considered having a mate with a standard well known detector such as gmp or e-trac/deus go over every target immediately after you and comparing results and signals? Easy to say i know but it would help us all put a particular detectors performance into perspective.
Best metal detector video out there! Mate, I'd love to see you do a test of the Makro Jeohunter. I'm interested in buying a semi-pro machine that will detect gold nuggets at depth in the Victorian Goldfields. 2.7kg nugget recently found here at 15cm depth - ok, just about any detector will find that, but what if it was 1 meter below the surface??
Great vid...thanks...I would have liked to have seen a coin buried next to the nail and all metal mode run as well as discrimination mode just to get an idea of the signals. I love the machine though. Currently using a Minelab Safari but may 'upgrade' soon.
Hello Mik Finders Keepers, the weight is 3.5lb`s with standard 11" coil which I was using in this video and the retail price I believe to be around £650.
There are so great machines on the market, I would not like to stare anyone anyway from any specific brand I have not personally used etc. Makro, Garrett, Minelab, XP and so many different brands producing so many very worthy machines at the moment where most of close on performance, obviously some are waterproof and other not, some are very light when some are not, its a case of looking around for something that fits yours specific needs, best regards mrix

Hello Lerosh s, when registering there is an option to verify your account, it helps more if you are actually selling items but basically just shows others you are a verified email checked member, this was only an option and not compulsory, I can refund this if you like ? let me know. I`ll check the listing now and update you..... mrix
