That's a bit odd. I wonder if the spell origin of PS explains why it scaled with leveling independent of the weapon modifier and ignored Power %. Not sure if it also fails to raise hit count.

I have a theory regarding the unused ice magic.
We know that God of War 2 was supposed to have Atlantis as a world within the game, way before we saw Atlantis in God of War: Ghost of Sparta (we know that because of the concept art book and the God of War 2's Lost Levels video).
I have a theory that we were gonna get this unused magic at Atlantis, and it would have something to do with Poseidon (or maybe another water deity, possibly Triton or Amphitrite), and it would be gauntlets that we would get at some sort of Atlantis temple, that would use ice as its power.
I even gave it a name: Gauntlets of Atlantis or Triton's/Amphitrite's Gauntlets.
But since the Atlantis level was cut, we also lost the Gauntlets, and it got replaced with Euryale's Head (a very bad decision, since I doubt that there's any God of War fan that actually likes the Medusa's Gaze/Euryale's Head magic, I would happily trade Euryale's Head with those Gauntlets). And it's possible that those Gauntlets evolved to the Atlantis Eye magic that we get in Atlantis in God of War: Ghost of Sparta.
Too bad we lost what could have been an amazing world to explore and an awesome magic, way better than the Atlantis level that we got in Ghost of Sparta.

Search for GOW 3 demo if you want, you will find interesting things too (secret ereas, secret weapons and more), but i really like that you made this video, you are awesome!

@@vigneshvampire The GoWIII demo build had unique counters on each weapon and some other less noticeable differences long ago QA'd by vets. We didn't have access to this GoWII build (or even the GoW1 case). GoW:A's earliest demo was very different, but we got it (and tested it).

You can't use Blades Of Chaos in the second game, only Blades Of Athena.
On your first gameplay the Blades will be Gold, later they will return to their Orange/Red color, when you play in NG+ mode (with all unlocked and max stats) and using the GOD Armor, possibly due to an error both color schemes overlaps
Poseidon rage was better than the final version,and Atlas quake icon and moves was different,why they messed up those things in the final version

Rather, casuals struggle with the mechanic even when it is quite strong (as was the case). Speedruns and challenge runs demonstrate this well. Rarely will you see a vanilla run putting things to work well (just lazily doing whatever with their mediocre play). It is no wonder they planned to betray fans of the mechanic this early on only to run into issues with this simpler alternative.
GoWIII realized that betrayal (poor Stheno was shafted in favor of Skorpius **perhaps the most offensive boss in GoW history**) in the mistaken impression this same lot would actually use sub-weapons if you made them chain shit, too. That didn't happen. Could have told them that, but would they listen? Unless you FORCE (Cestus) the matter or make the alternative ridiculously OP in obvious fashion (GoZ or even AoS), then most will NOT take note of the alternatives to mindless flailing (mashing incarnate).
