How do you get in touch with your waiter or Maitre D before meals to let them know you aren't coming or that you have special dietary needs? Do you call or go see them in person? Do they have an office. Please don't eat me up , I just really don't know.

That depends on the cruise line. We have a small plastic one that most tend to let slide as long as it is in our carryon.

Oh wow! Congrats on your first cruise. Shorts are generally ok for women lol. But most women wear cute sundresses or stuff like that
