Please tell me,why you use wheel shaped gear drive on the thread spinning mechanism? What is the use of that wheel structured gear drive? At 7:05 I think, it will work fine without that.. Please correct me if am I wrong..

In india - try robu.in - and if item is not available try electronicscomp.com/ both does deliver product. Aliexpress.com is also good unless blocked but they deliver about 80% times. For small items like resistor, capacitor try normal shop that are generally cheap

I love this! How could it be adapted to wind a larger ball of yarn? I'm thinking of the 16 ounce / 1256 yards (350 g / 1148 m) jumbo skeins that are too large for most skein winders.
I got hold of a sewing machine I devoted to winding wool on my horizontal winder. I used a home made pulley belt then put it on the winder to the bobbin section of the machine motor: this got me a wool winder with a motor.

Yeah it's a bit of a vanity show off project rather than seeking to present a realistic DIY solution for others. Which is ...fine, youtube is full of this kind of thing, but let's label it as such so people don't feel they can't actually make one themselves without spending $$$$$$$$$$$$

Seriously look into flathead fasteners and buy a countersink. Damn also get a center punch. Geez use the guide on the table saw to get a square cut and never reach over the blade. Also use a starter drill size drill at a small size 0.5mm before you go to your final size. Your bit won't deflect
If you are young and a student, then you are set. What you have done is a big deal for a novice or young student. Probably not a big deal though if you are like 40-years-old and you flip burgers at burger king. Can I have a large fries with mine please?
