Hello friends in this video I have made a motorized yarn winding machine using Arduino and stepper motor.

Very cool! I love the mechanics of this and how you made a gear from inverting a rubber belt.
If you attached a scale to this, it could automatically weigh the correct yarn amount.
Fantastic! A weaving machine would be interesting, if you've but already made one. Maybe with programmable pattern.
Plenty of open source projects out there with downloadable 3d printing files, for those with the funds for a basic printer and a knockoff arduino, but not the whole machine shop.

I saw such a winding machine in a tool shop, but it was hand-driven there.
@@lacikeri3102 Yeah, most home use ones are hand driven.
I think the goal is an automatic shutoff at a set length.

esto realmente me parece totalmente desatinado , para lo único que usaste el arduino es para prender un display que ya tenés las librerías , regular la velocidad de un motor ,que ya tenés la librerías , tira todo usa solo el motor DC y listo .Saludos

In india - try robu.in - and if item is not available try electronicscomp.com/ both does deliver product. Aliexpress.com is also good unless blocked but they deliver about 80% times. For small items like resistor, capacitor try normal shop that are generally cheap

First I was thinking the arduino control a servo to wind, but only thing here is a motor and the angel if winding is made by the hardware. So tell me what the arduino is doing? Only calculate the steps for the length?

I love this! How could it be adapted to wind a larger ball of yarn? I'm thinking of the 16 ounce / 1256 yards (350 g / 1148 m) jumbo skeins that are too large for most skein winders.

I got hold of a sewing machine I devoted to winding wool on my horizontal winder. I used a home made pulley belt then put it on the winder to the bobbin section of the machine motor: this got me a wool winder with a motor.

Seriously look into flathead fasteners and buy a countersink. Damn also get a center punch. Geez use the guide on the table saw to get a square cut and never reach over the blade. Also use a starter drill size drill at a small size 0.5mm before you go to your final size. Your bit won't deflect
