I wonder if it would be the most challenging game for them to do? Mostly because of disc 2. I'm not sure if there's a right way to handle it
It's story wise the best video game ever made. It rivals any novel or movie in narrative depth.

Tbh due to poor translation and rushed 2nd disc..... the game honestly is not fun to play in 2023. It would need a major rework with QOL improvements and.... a lot of other things.

たまたまこのシーンだけ他人のプレイやってる見て、
曲とあのシーン展開だけでゼノギアスをプレイしようと決めた程インパクト強かった。
ゲームRPGで自分の中では1〜2位の最高傑作と思えるゼノギアスに出会えて良かった。

@@TheRebornExpert the chance is almost zero since they've already created their own game studio monolith soft and created several xenosaga games
@@yoru8815 And they also created the Xenoblade series (Second time today that you forget it, lol). Still, "almost zero" means that it isn't impossible! And the fan demand for a Remake is still there and has increased ever since, so I (Along with other dedicated fans) will still keep believing in the dream until the very end!!

If there was one SquareEnix game I could have remastered right now it would be Xenogears. An amazing game overall, but the music really was stand out incredible. So happy to hear this!
Also with a fully developed disc 2 instead of the exposition dump with the occasional boss battle would be amazing.

@@SkellyHertzXenogears was originally going to be 7 discs long, it got massively scaled back no doubt due to production costs.

It was going to be 2 disks but sure stole almost half the team to work on that crap FF7 game leaving Soft short staffed and unable to finish it. As a teen, I order the soundtrack to this game. Took what felt like forever to get to my home in Texas from Japan. I wonder if the person that stole my CD album had any idea what he had.
原曲がゲーム本編中で最初に演奏されるのは「ソラリスへの突入」シーンではなく、対アハツェン戦でのチュチュの巨大化出撃シーンw
未だ色褪せぬゼノギアス。最高です。

I remember fighting the Elements on disc 2, and they had this music on when they were mecha combining. I was like, "Ok is my team the baddies now?"

Morishita's arrangement style reminds me of Shiro Hamaguchi, which takes me back to the golden days of Square-Enix music arrangements. Hope to see Hamaguchi-san return someday, but until then Morishita's work is right up there in terms of quality :)
Xenogears, its been ages but i do remember it being a pretty fun game albeit a incredibly long game with dang near hour long cutscenes haha, hope they remaster it someday be nice to replay it.

I love this song ❤ this is my favorite RPG of all time. I own an original copy of the game, but no longer have any way to play it. Like many other people in the comments I would love a remake or even a remastered version. I would be one of the first in line to pre-order it.

I have to say that out of a lot of their games, I think Xenogears needs that remake or remaster treatment the most or at least top 5. The songs, story (though a bit confusing) and battle system was great.

当時私にはストーリーとアクション（ジャンプ下手くそすぎ）が難しくて。。。でも兄がプレイしてたのと友達がこの曲が一番好きと言ってて、私もこの曲大好きです。ちゃんと自分で全編プレイしてないのに、でも胸がキュッとなります。
I heard so much about this game, Xenoblade has grown on me lately and has become my favorite franchise. It’s so great.
