Nah It's a waiting game Lakers only have 3 First Round Picks to bargain they're making sure to get all the right pieces with this first round picks and Trade assets, you must've forgotten that Rob's a magician in terms of trades, I just hope that the Buss family is not holding him for doing this trades
Isn’t Vando now 6’10”? He offers huge switch ability and superb quickness on offense. Yes, he would give away too much as far as heft on defense but this way you have the “triple towers” of LeBron, AD and Vando.
@@TheMaintenanceMan94 Phil Handy came back and said Vando grew two inches during the off season, right? Look at him standing next to Rui afterwards-clearly two inches taller.
I don’t think our main issue was offensively.. it was more rebounding/defensive bigs so yeah I’d take Kessler capela or Lopez if they’re cheaper cuz lauri is cheeks on d and rebounding
You don't need a 5 to shoot 3s you need a 5 that's strong and athletic andcsn rebound and is cheep, we seen what Minnesota did to Denver who the Lakers can't seem to beat there are players that are out of the leather fan still play and so.e are young like J. Okafor, Howard and D. Cousins
For what lakers are looking for in a center (rim protection + rebounding) they need to just go get Dwight Howard.. a vet minimum for 15-20 mins a game he’s gonna get 7-8 boards and a block
Golden State does not have more to offer in a trade for Lauri Markannen than the Lakers. Both have two unprotected first but the Lakers can move the protection on the 2027 first owed to the Jazz. Warriors only have two pick swaps but the Lakers have three pick swaps. The Lakers also have more 2nd round picks than the Warriors. Both have young talent they can trade.
I think Lakers should go all out to get Markannen, he's healthy , he can score different ways with LeBron and AD he'll score easily. Or get Wendell Carter to play more defense make things easier for LeBron and AD to score
@@etherealgazelauri would be ideal but grant can fit the role as long as you don’t give up 2 firsts for him. Personally I want to to see a Lavine trade that give us an additional first and we flip that and one of ours for Wendell or Walker Kessler. Then make consolidation trade to get Gary Trent and Dinwiddie
WCJ would be an ideal fit next to AD but really worry about his injury history over his 7 year career. I wouldn't include Dlo or Rui or any FRPs. Maybe Vincent/CamR plus 2nds .... which probably doesn't get it done. On the Lauri trade, that would be great move. Seems Lakers are an ideal trade partner in that Utah already controls the 2027. Trading picks/swaps would give Utah control of Laker picks from 2027-31. LB should be long retired and AD either slowing down/traded. Trade would include at least AR so that would hurt. Maybe other teams could trade more picks but more picks are not necessarily "good picks". I bet some of those picks would be low quality picks (from good teams like in the 20+ region in the draft. Lakers have a good shot at being a consistent lottery team from 2027-31. Seems like a win/win for both Lakers/Utah. I was honestly shocked Danny Ainge finally agreed to the RussW trade for only one protected (1-4) FRP. He did take his time. Initially demanding 2 FRPs. Only agreed as the trading deadline closed in. It would make sense for Utah to continue to try to collect Laker FRPs.
There are bargain bin centers like Christian Koloko, Jay Huff, Omer Yurtseven, Meyers Leonard & Charles Bassey once Lakers clear some roster spots thru trades or salary dumping without giving up a FRP.
Question! How come no one is talking about Colin Castleton as a viable option for the Lakers at center? Oh, I know some of you are going to tell me he's not experienced enough. Fair enough, but since they already have him on a two-way, they can plug him in right away next to A.D. Look at it this way, if they put him in the lineup next to A. D. They can still pursue all those guys mentioned in this video.
well i think lakers slight have a chance to get him cause the price od lauri has been reveal in gsw offer. so lakers can offer a package of austin, rui hachimura, jhs and 2 unprotected picks and pick swap
I have thought, maybe the Lakers and Warriors are not the only two teams interested. My guess is that 3/4 of the league is interested, so just beating the Warriors offer, might not be enough.
What’s the point of all the big men u mentioned that can’t shoot 3’s? Lakers already have decent big man who can’t shoot 3’s in Hayes , who btw really improved last season.
Because Hayes not guarding bigs and shooting as a center and PF is overrated look at the Spurs and Twolves they choose to shoot 3s but they don't have to
lauri is worth a minimum 4 FRP, no way rob makes that trade. Lebron is on the way out and AD is on the back half of his career this isnt a new york situation.
So they can't get these players because of salary cap restrictions, dont have enough assets, or the players don't fit with the current teams' chemistry . This makes sense perfect sense.
Detroit just picked up another big. Maybe we can get Jalen Duren. 20 years old and more upside than everyone on this list and we would kill coming off the bench and playing with Christian wood as power forward. Still on rookie salary also.
Why would a young, rebuilding team want to trade a 20 year old player on a rookie contract? The reason you like the idea, is the very reason the Pistons wouldn’t. They picked up the 3rd big because Stewart has been injured a lot. Stewart can also play the 4.
The 2 big line up for the Lakers is a pipe dream. It does not work for them anymore. Lebron is too old to play the 3 and chase wings through screens. Lebron is stuck at 4, then AD is stuck at 5. Any upgrades will be at 1 to 3. They could get a versatile big the is ok in coming off the bench to deploy in certain match ups. That's about it.
Ok, Laker fans, Jonas Valanciunas Dejounte Murray Klay Thompson DeMar DeRozan Donovan Mitchell Chris Paul Trae Young Gary Trent Jr ..... I'M TOTALLY CONVINCED NOW!! JUST RUN IT BACK!! 🏀💯
Personally, I think Tyus Jones and a decent back up center should be their 1A and 1B priorities. Don't know why the Lakers seem to have no interest in Tyus.
maybe DLO+Wood+Reddish in exchange for Wendal Carter, Jr? I agree he is the best fit for the Lakers (even though Markkanen is a much better player standalone)!
Nigga what? That is a Horrible trade Dlo is in the top 10 for 3p% with over 5 attempts. Yall be Gassing dlo he literally was not that bad lol sure he had Invisible games but he played over 75 games, 42% from 3, 18 points and 6 assists… wtf else do yall want from the man? LeBron the 4 Ad the 5 AR the 2 We need a almost all star 3 and trade dlo for that and let Gabe play the 1 or resign Spencer

Vanderbilt is the best next to AD and Bron. That way bron matches up with the worse offensive player and AD has another rebounder on the boards.
