Hey Eranga! thanks alot for the kind words! to book the campsites you need to visit the department of wildlife and inquire on availability of dates.unfortunately we do not remember the names of the two campsites. however they only do have these 2 campsites which you can stay the night at.

I have been on the lake on the national park on a hire boat it was a wonderful experience and a great engineering marvel in the building of the dam very long ago

Hey Asitha, rest assured we did not take the vehicle off the track except for one instance where the track was not usable. This is the case in any National Park and also why a park ranger is present with every group entering the park. our main goal is create awareness on these beautiful parks that we have, so that we can better protect them. In our experience the parks which have the least amount of tourism going into them are the ones that are being exploited the most as no one is seeings what's happening inside these parks. We hope to address this issue in a future vlog. Thanks for sharing your concerns.

Hey Shirmi! Thanks alot! we are so glad that you enjoy it and get to experience abit of sri lanka through it! To camp at any of the national parks in Sri lanka you need to visit the deoartment of wildlife which is located in Battaramulla, unfortunately there is no online process to book it (as per our knowledge) so you do have to visit the place physically and check availability to book any campsite.

Sheneller, Just fabulous. Please promote what you said in the video about enjoying the beauty in an “Ethical and sustainable” manner. I personally am not a fan on people driving their powerful 4x4’s on these pristine areas just to venture out, but to stay on guided tracks and to thread lightly. It’s important for us to inform the public at a time our elected politicians are so self-serving and has no regard to the environment nor for the generations to follow. Sinharaja massacre is a good example. Please keep up the good work.

We camp in this location every year for the last 9 years, they dunt allow hiking to the mountains anymore ......
Do the camp sites have bathrooms or did you use the jungle?
This Particular campsite did have a toilet. however I did prefer using the jungle as the toilets were not well maintained.
