for those who wanna know why the old version of this X was hated wa because: This EXE has a large history of controversy, from being from a greatly panned creepypasta, the creator, and the subsequent co-owner being exposed for predatory, abusive and manipulative behavior in August 2021, and the overall cliche-ridden content present in it. This being the remake of the original, has its own controversy for being seen as the current face of X when the exposures occurred, and the never finished rewritten story, only one part being released back in October 2017, ending with a cliffhanger. As of today, the character has been split into three different continuity. Raven, the owner of EXE, current is the head of the updated 2017 continuity. At the moment, what Raven has planned is unknown, as the previous planned incarnation has been pushed off for the Sonic Legacy FNF mod.
