May be. Cyclones in bay of bengal barely exceeds 240km/h let alone 340km/h. Some exceptions are, Odisha cyclone 1999, cyclone Amphan, cyclone Sidr, 1991 bangladesh cyclone To reach this anticipated strength, it needs high oceanic environmental support (like very high SST, low wind shear, enough coriolis force) as well as slow forward movement of cyclone. Due to ongoing global warming this anticipated wind speed may be gained by Cyclones in bay of bengal in near future.
