The design touches and all those custom built-in accessories are staggering. If I'm honest I don't think I truly need that level of polish (and potentially losable widgets) but as a design object ... wow.
Great straightforward review. Curious about why you wanted a more weighty travel tripod? That seems counterintuitive. I would think that lighter weight would be one of the top priorities for a travel tripod. I also understand that carbon fiber is considerably less susceptible to vibration than aluminum and is also lighter. I am considering getting the Peak Design aluminum tripod but that has more to do with the fact that I can't justify the cost of the carbon fiber one.
I needed something heavier that I can mount a laptop station to for location work. I felt the aluminium version was more suitable for this. Not purchased for travelling as such though. I just like that it packs down so small.
How would this work if I've got a Peak Designs Slide Lite strap on my camera using the under camera "anchor mount" for cross-body slinging the camera? Seems that the tripod (or any tripod) would not be compatible with cross-body slinging where there's anything attached to the camera's tripod mounting socket.
There are two eyelets on the tripod so you can fix anchors and attach a strap. Sorry I should have featured that in the video. Also I'll try attaching a plate with anchor attached to the tripod mount and get back to you on that.
best tripod Iv'e owned so far

Glad you liked it!
Nice video ❤❤
I’m have i quick question here , how did you take off two screws from the platform?
Thanks! Easy to remove with the included hex key that’s attached to one of the tripod legs.

I have this tripod. It's not perfect, but it is a wonderful tripod that I would not replace with any other.
