    I have a $3500. PLOC and just changed all of my expenses to that bank. I got a checking account there and there is zero fee for connecting LOC as an overdraft to my checking! Im about ready to rock n roll starting Jan 1! My first paycheck will be direct deposited first of the year. PTL!

    Christy, I am 72 yrs old nurse, still working and desperately trying to get my life in order so I can retire. I already got my miracle (ruptured aneurysm in my brain while at work, not only survived against all odds,I did make it out of hospital with minimal complications. My neurosurgeon called me his miracle patient)After receiving that big of miracle, I don’t feel right asking for another. I am hoping your velocity banking might be way to help me out of huge credit card debt. I have been depressed since before pandemic and allowed my spending to get out of control. Also hope this will reteach me to live within my means

      You can’t do this… go back to her earlier videos. They really do explain it well. I started velocity banking in December 2023 with a $20,000 credit card and over $2000 owed to the IRS and I paid it off in December 2024 and that’s with unexpected expenses coming up. It really starts with knowing where your money is going. what I mean by that is knowing where every penny is going. I incorporated a budget and my debt tool was the credit card with the over $20,000 debt (maxed out) so you can do it.

      Depends what you mean by pay one CC with another CC. If you mean paying the monthly payment of one CC to another, the only way to do that is by having a linked CC. If you mean paying off an entire balance from one CC to pay off the entire balance on another, it would require a balance transfer/convenience check. Of course you want to have a 0% percent offer.

    • @Shana911

    All my cc’s have have high balances and I need to buy a car. I have talked to loan officers at a few CU’s in WA who tell me I won’t get approved for a Heloc or Ploc 🙁 everyone wants to give me a loan though 😒 what if I did get a loan and then velocity bank’d the loan with my cc’s that would then be freed up? 😅

    • @Jesus-o7v9x
      @Jesus-o7v9x 16 дней назад +2

      You absolutely can do that. I'm not saying this will go smoothly but you get the loan to pay off the credit cards. This does a couple things. It clears up your credit utilization, which can possibly help you qualify for a LOC, not right away though. You could possibly try getting a new CC with 0% interest and throw it at the loan. Just a thought, have a great day.

      Figure out debts, monthly expenses. Make a budget. Know your numbers.
      Every time you get paid pay credit card. All your expenses come out of cc. Leave your rent, mortgage in bank . Try not to impulse buy, watch sales, try to be mindful of your spending.
      You can do it.
      I try to live below my means a little but I'm determined to get out of debt.

    • @hangemhigh3578
      @hangemhigh3578 16 дней назад

      @willm.8840 ok check your credit score on all 3 major credit reports and dispute anything wrong.
      Credit unions are much better than corporate banks. Many don't have a minimum balance in checking account. They just want direct deposit over 250.00.
      Then after established after 6 months depending on credit score apply for ploc, not personal loan. Make sure that credit union has that service before you open it. (Ploc)
      Good luck. And yes you pay off cc's. I chunked. Christy has videos of chunking.

    • @Jesus-o7v9x
      @Jesus-o7v9x 12 дней назад

      @@naomivalle8450 This would be my approach. In almost all cases the PLOC has a lower interest rate than a credit card, I would do a balance transfer to the credit card. So take 2,000 from the PLOC and pay down the credit card by 2,000. This will leave 3,000 balance on credit card and 2,000 on PLOC. Now you begin to use the PLOC as your new checking account. Once the PLOC is paid off, do another 2,000 chunk payment. Rinse and repeat. Have a great day.

    • @nanitaheart
      @nanitaheart 17 дней назад

      You would still save on interest because car loans are amortized, and plocs are revolving

    • @atdepaulis
      @atdepaulis 17 дней назад

      Can’t you just put all your extra towards the principal each month on your car loan and get it paid off the same rate?
      I think it also depends on what year you are in your loan.. if it’s the beginning of your loan you can put it all towards principal
      If you are at the mid or end of your loan then you paid most of your I lnterest already since home and car loans all the interest is in the front of the loan

    • @jimmyg8338
      @jimmyg8338 17 дней назад

    • @Jesus-o7v9x
      @Jesus-o7v9x 17 дней назад

      In your shoes I would just keep paying the car loan as is. If you have higher interest debt, I would move cash flow towards that debt. Another question is, do you want the cash flow gained by paying off the car loan. Do you really need the cash flow by paying the car off? Whatever your monthly payment is, is the cash flow you will gain. So, is the cash flow worth it to you? Hope this helps, have a great day.
