As I was watching your video I was also listening to my audio bible (kjv). When you where gathering the dress part together with the wire I heard the scripture being read that said: "Angel of the LORD" 💜 Thank you for sharing it reminds me of the days I use to make things including crocheted rings for fingers 🙂. 💜 I loved giving them away 💛 May our LORD richly bless and protect you. Lovingly in our LORD, Lin
Hi Patsi, I bought this ribbon a couple of years ago. I can't remember if it was Michael's or Walmart. Sorry! The width of the ribbon is 2.5 inches wide. Hope this helps a little!
These are beautiful Angels. I also noticed you make jewelry as well by your tools and gaged wire. I do crafts and make jewelry as well. I caught your hidden other talent. Bravo!
You caught me! LOL! Actually, I make all kinds of jewelry, however, I don't seem to post what I can really do because I don't know how many people who watch my channel are into jewelry making.
More lovelies on my to make list, you so inspire me to make my own decorations,it is such fun knowing that unless they too watch your videos, that none of your family or friends will have the same decorations on their trees xx
Elaine White LOL! I never thought of that! You're right! I don't think any of my relatives really watch my videos, except one brother. Most who watch are my friends and other crafters. Elaine, Thank you again for all your lovely comments! :o)
Very cute! Your projects are always a lot of fun to watch as you make them. You explain everything so well and don't worry about being nervous or stumbling a little on your videos. I know, I consider you a friend/ fellow crafter and these little imperfections are no big deal! Keep the cute crafty video's coming, you are have great ideas and super sweet and simple projects. Thanks for your time and for sharing with us!
Oh my goodness! So beautiful! I will be adding some of these beauties along with your other angels to my mothers altered box I have made her for mothers day. I can't wait to see her face. I am disabled and working with one hand and you make it so easy to keep up with your instructions. Thank you so much ❤
+m malone Thank you sooo much! I appreciate you taking the time to post this. It does my heart good to know my tutorials are making a difference to someone who needs to go at a slower pace. God bless you Hun!
Hi hon,I have just watched this video again, and something you said, got me thinking AGAIN!!! You called the skirt "bell shaped".and that made me think what pretty bells you could make this way, using wired ribbon ,the large pearl and a little jingle bell "ringer".I will be making some of the angels, and will also have a go at making bells ,Thank You sweety and bless you,for the inspiration xx
+Elaine White I never thought of that, however, that is a really creative idea! You always come up with something new! I love the way your mind works! LOL Love and Hugs to you!
gave me the Idea, when you said the skirt looks like a bell,It didnt register the first time, because I was really watching what you were doing, but when I watched again ,I heard that and my mind when DING!!! (no pun intended) and the bell idea was born xx
I find watching crafting videos soothing and inspirational ---- and have to tell you ---- I LOVE this one -- and am looking forward to watching more of your wonderful work!!!!!!
I know this was taped like 4 years ago, but I have to tell you, you had me in stitches, with the poor angel flipping across the table and other little mishaps, I really needed this tonight. Thanks Happy Bird
Angela Thank you Angela! I buy most of my beads online, however, I buy the ribbon at Michael's. The 2.5 inch wide ribbon is $10 a roll but I would NEVER pay that price! I stock up on wide ribbons around the holidays. Michael's always marks their ribbons down by 50% or 60% off during that time. Especially as it gets closer to Christmas! :o)
I wish I lived in USA so i could go to michaels and all the awesome craft stores you have. thats why i appreciate when you tell us where you bought things from like ebay so i know i where i can get some of the materials! Thanks again :)
How pretty! I just love angels and working with that wired ribbon! Here's a great tip.. use a blow dryer or heat gun just for a second to get rid of those glue strings! It melts them away so quickly! Have a blessed day :)
Wow, I just now saw your tutorial, love it! I make my ornaments and give it away to my friends. I didn't how to use my cell phone except for calls, text, and games. So much craft ideas, i never get lonely or bored 'cause I'm always doing my crafts. My dad and husband supported me on this passion of mine. They bought are in heaven now, so holidays I get sad. I snap out of it and do crafts, sometimes until morning . Thank you so much, your sweet voice and easy instructions are big help and inspire me to do something. My only problem is that I can't pull the wire to gather it for the angel's dress and I tear up the lace. Maybe it's the kind of ribbon I'm using. I'll try another ribbon, I won't give up. Wish me luck and thank you again....Nora W.
another easy tutorial love watching you struggle!! lol not really I'm just glad I'm not the only one! really pretty angels I am going to have ago at these! tfs luv Pammie x x x
Pammie Cadwallader LOL! It seems that I flub up on camera more than anything else. I think it's because I'm trying to do things quickly and I can't always see around the camera. At least that is the story I'm sticking to! LOL!
Great video thank you been looking how to make a nice angel I love it when you say "ask me how I know" I've noticed you say that on a few of your videos it does make me laugh
Absolutely precious! Thanks so much for sharing your sweet angels. I need more ribbon. I went to town making your other ribbon angels....they just kept rolling out. Adorable little extra gifts or packaging additions 0=)
I am planning on making this angel love her. I made the other angels last Christmas. The angels are a big thing to me. I made the crosses, trinity beads and pass out along with the angels. I am in process working on snowflakes almost most finished 18. I need more will continue. Thank You
Naomi Jacobs Naomi, I'm so glad you are enjoying my videos and find them useful! :o) I have 3 more ornaments in my head. I just have to take time to record them and put them on RUclips. God bless!
I love your video's. I wish we were closer together to buddie around and play with our crafts. I have no desire to be in video's just want someone to be with. I lost my sis over 4 years ago. She was my best friend so now I'm alone. You sound like my kind of person. Thanks you for your great ideas. I am a portrait artist and love my teacher but she doesn't craft like I do. God bless you and your family.
Virginia Derk Awww! My heart goes out to you Sweetie! I lost my dad a little over a year ago and he was my best friend. He was so supportive of my crafts....even in his 80's! :o) I moved 75 miles away after he died, so I don't really know too many people up here. The neighbors keep to themselves here in California. The ones I have met aren't really interested in crafting, so I understand a little of what you are feeling. I decided I was going to take a couple of classes at a craft store to see if it would help me feel a little more "connected." Sending ((((HUGS)))) and prayers your way! God bless!
Thanks for the making of this angel, but just couldn’t get what size pearl you use for the head, can you please let me know and my granddaughters love making the straw trees and others ornaments, Thanks so much for great video and instruction that i can followed along with. Linda
*Really?? You get nervous when on camera??* Well, it never shows. You are always consistent, & soft spoken. It always appears & sounds like you've been doing this for decades! Gorgeous angel. That particular color is so very pretty. *Thank you.* Have a beautiful weekend.
I saw in your fan fold tutorial the name "Lori" on your scissors. Unless they belong to someone else, and it's possible, I assume your name is Lore. I loved the Jam jar repurpose so needing Christmas ideas on a budget, here I am. No, no, no! That first tutorial was amazing for a first video. You was not yelling. You speak in a calm, almost a whisper. Not too quiet. Very clear, intentional, You are a natural. I love your tutorials. I know I can go back right to the point I need to where I need help. Keep 'em coming my friend. XX's from Utah
+Lynda Thomas LOL! Yes, that is my name. I have to write my name on my scissors around here because they "mysteriously disappear." LOL! I so appreciate your sweet comments! Thank you Lynda! :o)
These are delightful. I'm glad I didn't listed to my brain when it read "weird" for "wired!" I'm looking for angels to make that could be mailed in an envelope. I'm not worried about the bead, but do you think this would look just as beautiful slightly flattened? Seems the recipient could "fluff up" the wires to bring back the flattened ribbon to its original glory.
Sue Atkins LOL! Thank you so much for watching my videos Sue! :o) I think they would pop back into shape just fine after being flattened in an envelope! God bless! :o)
As I was watching your video I was also listening to my audio bible (kjv).
