A jazz concert in Hamburg

An Evening of Azerbaijan was held, December 5th, 2013, within the project "Promotion of Azerbaijan", in the German city of Hamburg, with organizational support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and assistance by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Germany.
At an event organized in historical Börsensaal Hall of the city, a painting exhibition entitled "Germany Through an Artist's Eyes" with pictures drawn by young Azerbaijani artists that have never been to Germany, using their imagination of this country, and a photo-exhibition reflecting the life of Germans living in Azerbaijan were displayed.
The "Jazz Anthology" printed in 5 languages was presented at the event.
Dishes from Azerbaijan's national cuisine, various books on Azerbaijan's history, culture and art published by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and CDs with Azerbaijani mugham, jazz, and classic and variety music were presented to the guests.
A concert by virtuosic jazz performer Isfar Sarabski took place at the evening.
