The Habs raised expectations excessively at start of season. The deficiencies in this team are exposed most nights by the better teams. The forwards are too small, the better players are overthinking, terrified of shooting or making a mistake which causes them to make a lot of them. I feel very bad for season ticket holders. Long season, losing mentality. Everyone keeps talking about how smart management is but I am having doubts there as well
the problem is our inconsistency. when we win, we stop our hard work. i feel like our players are sometimes ungrateful for the opportunity they have. our team cant handle pressure. simple. heck our ahl roster plays with more drive.
Its a rebuild. If you compare with other rebuilds in the NHL, we aint a failure yet. Look at the Blackhawks, the Ducks, the Sharks, the Sens, the Sabres. Jesus...the Sabres lol, that is the definition of a fail. It will take years. Its the third season only. People has to get their head out of their butt and fucking take a deep breath. We cant all be the Dallas Stars. Its a complicated process, and its not a linear one. Seriously, try and explore what has been done elsewhere, the challenges they had to face in order to have a succesfull team. So many Montreal fans have the perspective of a child. Win win win. Now now now. Grow up and expand your understanding of the process.
Well said 👏 Most rebuilds take much longer than 3yrs, so to have the mentality that if the Habs are not "in the mix" then it's a complete failure this season, is absurd.
You hit it right on the nose. A lot of dumb french fans who've never played high level hockey (mostly the older crowd) that dont understand rebuilds. A lot of people outside of Quebec understand the process but they should look forward to top 1-3 overall picks this season and next. Dvorak, Savard, Anderson, Gally and unfortunately Newhook and Evans will be traded so guys like Roy and Beck get a solid spot along with Demidov. Fowler will be the #1 goalie very soon. The club is trying to figure out what to do with Reinbacher and a couple other underperforming prospects to hopefully land a well rounded point per game player. Why do we need to win games to not make playoffs and miss out on super stars in this draft and the next? Im hoping we lose more and more. Let the young guys play and if they fire the coaching staff.. OH WELL it wont change our position in the standings. Goodluck winning games with a new playbook out of the gate. Way too many "fans" that literally dont understand a single thing about rebuilds.
It looked like the team forgot how to play between Monday and Saturday. NHL scheduling is nuts, back-to-back and three games in four nights, then off for 5 or 6 days between games. However, that's not an excuse for last night's performance, particularly in the 2nd. Fans are expecting too much. It could be 10 years before Montreal makes the playoffs again. I've wondered about line combinations most of the season. Caufield on the second line???? Why break up a first line which produced. Dach has been a bust as has Newhook. Caufield-Suzuki-Slafkovsky, Heineman-Dvorak-Anderson, Armia-Evans-Gallagher, 4th line Pezzetta(to add some life)-Newhook-Dach. Defensive system isn't working most nights. I felt that trading Kovacevic was a mistake as he matched up well, whoever his partner was.

If you see only these two you are wrong. You can’t play one good game and another disastrous game!!! There’s either desperate lack of confidence or even more probable an undisclosed problem between St. Louis and players. There’s no other way this would happen. In this exact game he just saved the game from a gateaway almost at Primeau's goal. And don't mention his energy and effort, he is always dynamic. I am way more disappointed by Dach, whom I saw often pretty still and giving up fast (on forechecks, battles and also after his bad passes etc). Seems like he doesn't want to play - but Hutson has got one of the most skilled, energetic and mature way of playing. He's a will-o-the-wisp on ice..
Was never really convinced that Marty was the right choice, though I must admit that he has done some good things. The right coach or not,the inconsistency of this team may cause him to be replaced, and that is not right. He deserves a far better effort.
To me, the only difference with last year is the effort level. Last 2 years, they always fought, that’s why there were that many 1 goal games. I wonder why this year is different. That’s also why Gallagher looks so good this year, he just continues fighting while others don’t. It’s not fair for MSL, but I think it’s the right time for a coach change, this teams needs a big wake up call for the rebuild to get back on the right track. An experienced coach for the next step.
Jim Montgomery is sitting at home just sayin" Montgomery left Boston after putting together a 120-41-23 record. In his first season the Bruins amassed a record 135 points and Montgomery won the Jack Adams Award as coach of the year. He did an even better job last season. The Bruins had 109 points. He grew up in Montreal’s East End, speaks French, was Kent Hughes’s teammate at Collège St-Laurent lead Maine to an NCAA championship.

We need a coach that can help these kids grow into winners. Goaltending is weak. And we have all these kids in laval having great success, yet management refuses to call anyone up? Frustrating to watch.
The floodgates opened after that spectacular Daxh backhand pass into the middle. And how about all of those sweet Savard stretch passes to Vegas players.
I believe in MSL but never thought at start of season that we were going to have this many problems with our top 6. One good thing is we are figuring out what works and what doesn’t. This year we were supposed to get more secondary scoring. We have to be more than a 1 line team and have even had to break that up. Let’s be honest Suzuki is our best playmaker so everyone that is not playing well gets put with him to get their game back. With Dach and Slaf having Laine and Demidov can’t help but improve their game. We have to find the little nuisances that helps their game. That’s coachings job and MSL is definitely trying.
Slav is not improving. Sus and Cole are silent.... Marty has to get this attack back together... they worked well and now? Dach did not improve the first attack. If the team has only one good attack, the super will focus on them and send the best ones against them to eliminate them....
who the hell calls Suzuki sus as a nick name. ??? Have you not been paying attention to their stats? 19 points in 20 games for Suzuki and 16 points for Caufield on a terrible team. Dach just came back from a huge knee operation. We still have countless injuries plaguing the team. Terrible goaltending. Dvorak, Anderson, Pezzetta, Savard, Gally all need to go. Marty hasn't lost anything. Hes coaching a bunch of cabbage patch kids and old timers who have zero leadership in the locker room. Marty lets the kids play and expects powerplay goals. We'll happily take a top 3 overall pick in the draft and happily take another next year. Roy, Beck, Demidov and Fowler will get lots of ice time.
I am happy that the Habs are struggling. I want them to tank and get a great pick in the 2025 draft. We do not have enough elite talent to be future Stanley Cup contenders. Next year's draft is our last chance to stock up on talent. We blew it with the Reinbacker pick, it set us back one year in the rebuild.
You haven't ever seen booing in Bell center are you 5 years old?😁 Suzuki had a bad game too! It's a young team but yesterday no effort, a good first but they got lucky on the breakaway. Bad game, I tuned off after the second. The talent is there, maturity's not. I don't mind finishing last again this year...good times are coming can't wait for Demidov joining. Goalies issue have to be adressed, I love Monty but he's a #2. I would've loved being wrong about Primeau, but too good for AHL and not enough for NHL. I think that's the toughest spot for a pro hockey player, sux for him but that's my take on that.
Last night's game was the NHL equivalent to the Jake Paul / Mike Tyson fight. They didn't show up to win, they simply showed up for the fucking paycheck. Absolutely disgusting. And my friends wonder why I won't pay to go to the Bell Centre...
Don't get depressed. Vegas is a serious, playoff heavy team with a deep roster, no one under six feet, with their top players being All World. They are cup contenders, Habs are cellar contenders. Habs love their tiny hype guys who, should not be put in that position. Watching Hutie get out of position and blow D coverage on every opposition highlight reel is tedious. He should be a great 15 min power play specialist when he matures, or try to play forward. Slav and Dach appear to be slow reactors. They need to simplify their game, north south, and work the boards, physical on the forecheck. If they don't get their feet moving they won't improve.
Sure Slaf had a terrible game tonight. But he's 20. Still deserves some patience. Dach and Newhook on the other hand...just as bad...and have been sad all season...but time is quickly running out for them to turn their careers around. I just don't see it happening. They were atrocious trades by HuGo to begin with, and they just keep looking worse with every passing month. You *cannot* structure a rebuild around these kinds of players.
I agree with patience.. but why the hell is it always “I’ve got to be better” almost every postgame this year .. “3 years Dach and slafkovsky will be 90 point players” says fans.. if they don’t show flashes throughout the year.. it’s less likely every game that passes.
No current coach in the NHL can make this group any better or pull wins out of a hat like a magician! Come on, wake up! The team lacks talent and depth! It lacks grit and enthusiasm! Until we can be called more than a “ one line” team with mediocre defense and goaltending, it doesn’t matter “ WHO” is behind your bench! Give it up already! Fire MSL and bring another coach in and throw him to the wolves??? That’s the solution??? Highly doubt it! We need a 2nd line centre! We need a Kovacevic! We need a Monahan! We need a Fowler or an Askarov! We need Demidov and Hage! We need an Olivier / Jeannot! He’ll even Tuch/ Xjekah! But Hughes hands are tied! There’s no space for these guys until the terrible vets contracts expire because nobody wants them! Until then our team won’t improve! Patience is the key! Next year is the year to see growth, not this year! Same team pretty much besides Dach and Hutson! We lost 2 players whom we should have kept! Monahan and Kovacevic! Theyde be better than a few guys on this team at their position!
I think there will be a bag skate tomorrow. Slaf was -4 and Dach was -3 will 3 giveaways (his giveaway up the middle immediately led to the 2nd Vegas goal and start of 2 minute meltdown). The idiots that all want to fire Marty throw everyone under the bus every night and have no backbone as a fan. Also, I think these flames are fanned by the media as they have no respect. With that minor practice incident days ago with Dach that was reported, I'm starting to question if he has any passion to play at the moment.
Rough outing. Especially at home. Habs were brutal in the 2nd, VGK are a solid squad, they’d made good game plan, then really good adjustments in the 2nd period. Habs showed something in the 3rd. Dust yourselves off and get ready to work … it’s going to be a hard 2 weeks! Fans get sour in a hurry if they don’t see the effort. This must be sorted out because you want strong effort every shift, every period, every game. Anything less is not acceptable.
I'm not giving Dach anymore breaks because of his injury, at this point, he SHOULD be playing better!!! where the hell is his hockey IQ?! he's been in the league long enough to know what to do.
@@adamCarter20 Dach had a complete knee rebuild and it’s not unusual for anyone suffering that injury to to not have confidence in being able to trust the knee for quick change of direction or change of pace ! @royshroud9536 Nope, not an excuse for poor decision making with the puck and poor faceoffs, I understand his skating won't be the best, he was never that good anyways, but it's like he forgot how to make smart plays, I thought he just damaged his knee not his brain...but this will be his last year in Montreal if he can't get it together
Play against contenders and you see the real state of this team! Wins vs lower ranked teams are nice but not anything to get overly excited about, and revive all the playoff noise, what you see is what you get. BTW what's Montembeault's GAA ? Easy part of the schedule is over back to backs and road games will increase Primeau will have to play!
I've been a HABS fan for a very long time and this is the first time I have ever heard the fans 'BOO' this club. Wow!! They had a good roll going then a really long break... momentum killer. They did pick it up a little in the 3rd, which is a positive. I have to say... I'm not liking Caufield's defensive game. They played pretty well in the first, but laid an egg in the second period. It will all come together. We just have to be patient. GO HABS GO !!!!
every blames slaf but its the entire team that garbage no one talks about armia being useless and always get penalties newhook just skating in circles dvorak none existent matheson loves shooting shins at some point marty should punish the vets and that will send a message instead of punishing the young guys all the time
The problem is not the coaching. Rebuildsv take time. The success of our AHL team is a sign the rebuild is going on the right direction. We lacked a very serious development structure and more that will feed the future
Wow , this game sucked . After having alĺ that time off and only having 9 shots on goal after 2 periods and allowing 5 goals at that point . This only shows us .Its a long road to the top if you want to play Habitant hockey 🏒 Don't get too high on this team yet . Many more night's like this will happen this year. Like tonight 😢 . But there wiĺl be highs 😊
Here's my report card: 1. the coach is struggling with a poor team 2. Dach , Newhook , Slavkofsky, Suzuki, Montembault & Primeau have all taken a step backwards this year 3. then there's Anderson , Armia , Dvorak who are just taking up space but doing very little 4. with all due respect for MSL , Jim Montgomery is available - quality coach like this doesn't pass by every day 5. Pezzetta wasn't perfect but at least he gave a good effort on the forth line 6. the Habs need more size and grit like what Xhekaj brings - this is the big league and there are players out there who play hard 7. Hutson is the only one on the team who can carry the puck from behind his net and enter the offensive zone because he's not afraid to try conclusion: the Habs need to simplify and stay focused and this is all in the heads of the players.
Dack looks lost,Laine and Gallagher on a line would help him alot, all the critics are wrong Gallagher is an easy 2nd liner,he's healthy and gritty, slaf back on first line,Hudson and gule number 1 unit please,
Gallagher has 30ish second of pure energy then he’s out of gas. He’s an older often injured player.. he can produce more with what has been given to him. If he goes above this, he will force himself(as usual) and be prone to injuries because of fatigue errors.
We can't question their skill, but anyone can judge and question effort. Ups and downs boys, ups and downs. Been training young guys (not in hockey) for 25 years ans just when you think they unterstand, they forget a measurement and scrap the product by cutting it too short. They're called brain farts, and they become less and less frequent as experience comes. Stay positive! GO HABS GO!
Well I was hoping for a playoff push this year but that’s obviously not happening, but on the bright side we might potentially get 2 picks in the top 10, Calgary having a decent year is a big win for us we have their pick.
No big deal, no need to panic. Would our team be better if we made a few call ups from Laval, probably, but why break up a good thing down there. Our Defense needs a couple more years to be competitive, as well as additions of Rainbacher, and Mailloux, etc. Up front still have Beck, Hage, Demidov, Roy that should all be coming up in the next year or 2. If we finish bottom 5 again this year, it's not a big deal.
The dream was to be "in the mix". Fans are reacting like that was a guarantee. Dach hopefully needs to figure things out. Might take the whole season. Slav is having a slowish start, but still playing well (guaranteed monster in 2-3yrs). Montembeault is not playing at the superstar level he was playing last season (not a surprise). If Canadiens turn it around soon, great, but if they finish bottom 5 in the league so be it.
They played like they didn’t want to get scored on. Terrible way to play. You’re supposed to play to win. Win each battle, win by never making a stupid pass. Hockey is a game of mistakes. All you need to do is assume you’ll make a mistake and be ready with a backup plan or two, or even 3 backup plans on every play. It’s very hard to play against an entire team with that mentality.
They got caufield to PASS on the second line. He does not shoot anymore. I see that he has to be complete and he is so responsible that he is no longer a threat 5vs5. He was known for his zone entries, now he just goes to the same spot and then skate back . He’s afraid at this point and he has checked out like we do when we have a boss that is asking us stupid stuff. This is a coaching decision.
Well, that little positive streak ended with an exclamation mark. Not surprising. Sad, but not surprising. This team just is not very good. I've said it before and I'll say it again...HuGo are *not* doing a very good job of this rebuild.
People really need to stop panicking and chill out. 😂The Montreal Canadiens' best players for both the present and future are mostly between 18-25 years of age and there are a LOT of them. There won't be any serious competitiveness from the Habs until these quality players have the experience needed to compete with the best of the best. It was never rocket science. These are just the usual growing pains that hockey rebuilds go through.
I'm over Matheson and Dach on the PP. If I have to watch Kirby coast around, or try and thread the seam pass one more time, or Matheson shoot it into someone's shin pads I'm going to lose it.
Winning isn't going to get them anywhere but losing will. Teams not good enough for a cup run just yet, and making the playoffs gets them what? More ticket sales? Who cares about that?
Dach is a dud. Hughes made a mistake getting him. Mistakes happen but it is a mistake to continue not to admit the mistake. Teams do give up after being down a couple of goals. It is important however for the team to have a better effort. If they can't, then the coach has to be blamed.
Our guys are making mistakes from both ends they are rattled and trying to force passes. The D was trying to make breakout passes and it was getting cutoff. This is our forwards not using their IQ to be in better position to receive a pass in flight and the D trying to make passes that aren’t there. Vegas pounced on everything how many 2 on 1s were there. When it’s going like that better to dump it up the boards and our D should not gamble. If they back off it at least they have a chance of some forwards getting back. Every bouncing puck went to Vegas.
This game ain’t nuthin’. I clearly remember watching Detroit score, how many (13 if memory serves ) on St. Patrick the night he told Ron Cory that it was his last game in Montreal. Off night, every team has them. Maybe Slaf was hung over. Yes this game did suck ass, but I’ve seen way worse by the Habs.
Ok i watched Every hab game this year and full disclosure i never had much belief in Dach even before his injury ..which i believe he is a china doll (beside the point).... So its been said "taking time returning to form from major knee injury"...then why the hell dont they send his ass to Laval to shape up and bring J Roy to the show? I mean neither guy is a defensive thorn and Roy has more offensive talent and i believe more offensive Drive/desire to put up points
We have no goaltending, as a result the defence has no confidence because if they make a mistake, they know there's pretty much an empty net behind them. This is trickled down to the forwards as well because there no leadership to snap them out of it - Suzuki is a terrible leader! To top it off, we have a coach that wont discipline anyone. This is the most unbalanced Habs team I've seen in my 30 years of watching. Yes, we have to be patient during a rebuild but we also have to see progression, NOT regression. Get Montgomery in there in some capacity and bench Suzuki a couple games.
Too many fair-weather fans follow this team... Montreal will never again win the cup without going through a 7-year reconstruction period (we are in year 3). The league has too many teams to allow for band-aid patching like the habs have done for nearly 30 years prior to going all in into a rebuild. Patience fans, patience, don't be like kids in a candy store that want to have all the candy right now. Do you want a team that makes the series like Toronto or do you want a dynasty team that can go for a multi-cup run this decade? Patience!
I wouldn’t say slaf is a flop until they give him a real number 1 center to play with… there isn’t enough talent on his line to feed him. Give it 2 more seasons before we discuss that
Are you for real you mean the you the 7-2 loss to the rangers or the 8-2 loss to Seattle or how about 6-3 loss to Washington. You saw games like today all season long. That comment alone plus the last video I watched stating your thoughts they were turning the corner makes me think you 2 guys are out of touch.
They’re still too small. The players with size play small, and there’s a lack of talent at the top end. Still no superstar’s. 10 year rebuild incoming…
I have seen it a few times. Fans want a change. Plain and simple. Whether that comes in the form of a big trade or a firing, is up to the GM and owner. We pay some of the highest ticket prices in the league and frankly this is starting to become unacceptable from a entertainment stand point. Time to shake the team up. They need a wake up call.

Slav is a big player he got to play that way
To me, the only difference with last year is the effort level.
The team is dog shit...Monty won't change that....
You can forget that idea, he just got hired by St Louis
Montgomery was just hired by St. Louis (Blues, not Martin LOL)
Agreed, let's get him!
@@bernardbeninger5942 its a big kiss ass show in montreal right now from the top down!!!! gordon kisses molson$ ass, hughes/gordon, st louie/ hughes, sazuki/st louie, mathison/sazuki, savard/mathison, gulie/savard, & then everyone who says rebuild is a butt kisser!!
Ever since they took Slaf off the 1st line, he's been struggling. They moved him to get Dach going now they have 2 players not performing.
Cole pays the price cause management wont admit dach is shit
He just came back from major knee surgery. He may figure it soon, or next year, and of course, he might never be a 2nd line Center. Only time can tell us that.
Dude is not a center hes a bottom 6 winger
Cheers guys, love your vibes as always!
Sus and Cole are silent. Dach was better injured. Marty has lost the room.
Slav is not improving. Sus and Cole are silent.... Marty has to get this attack back together... they worked well and now? Dach did not improve the first attack. If the team has only one good attack, the super will focus on them and send the best ones against them to eliminate them....
After the 3-0 win against the Oilers everything was great according to the peanut gallery - now fire the coach, trade everybody - LOL.
who the hell calls Suzuki sus as a nick name.
The rebuilt needs a rebuilt.
You haven't ever seen booing in Bell center are you 5 years old?😁
Suzuki had a bad game too!
And my friends wonder why I won't pay to go to the Bell Centre...
absolutely
One thing that I have noticed is that Montreal always has a terrible second period. Their puck possession is terrible and they have no hustle.
the only great second periods ive seen this year were against buffalo and edmonton. thats it
They had 4 days off....worst possible thing that could have happened
Yeah that’s why they lost tonight?
You are an idiot if you think that about Hutson.... every Dman on the team has the same thing happen to them.... fucking moron 😊
Maybe on NHL couch would help this is the worst couching staff in all of professional hockey!!
Slaf needs to realize that he needs to work harder, skate harder and finnish his checks which he never seems to do
I agree with patience.. but why the hell is it always “I’ve got to be better” almost every postgame this year
.. “3 years Dach and slafkovsky will be 90 point players” says fans.. if they don’t show flashes throughout the year.. it’s less likely every game that passes.
I have to agree with you on the Newhook and Dach experiments! They aren’t working out and we gave up a lot to get these 2!
Why remove slaf from suz and Cole
Rough outing. Especially at home. Habs were brutal in the 2nd, VGK are a solid squad, they’d made good game plan, then really good adjustments in the 2nd period. Habs showed something in the 3rd. Dust yourselves off and get ready to work … it’s going to be a hard 2 weeks! Fans get sour in a hurry if they don’t see the effort. This must be sorted out because you want strong effort every shift, every period, every game. Anything less is not acceptable.
Has slafkosky had a shot on net this month yet.I still think he's gonna be a good player but come on.
Exactly!! He doesn’t freakin shoot!!! Who the hell knows what’s happening behind the scenes.. but it’s been brutal
Something is off. When coach destroys your confidence and box you into a playstyle that doesnt suit you, he is a bad coach.
Recall Markov after returning from his knee injuries he was tentative and unable to make quick moves cause he worried about reinjury, surgery and rehab!
GO HABS GO !!!!
every blames slaf but its the entire team that garbage no one talks about armia being useless and always get penalties newhook just skating in circles dvorak none existent matheson loves shooting shins at some point marty should punish the vets and that will send a message instead of punishing the young guys all the time
It seem at points some player didn't want the puck. And when they had it they didn't know what to do with it.
Here's my report card:
1. the coach is struggling with a poor team
2. Dach , Newhook , Slavkofsky, Suzuki, Montembault & Primeau have all taken a step backwards this year
3. then there's Anderson , Armia , Dvorak who are just taking up space but doing very little
4. with all due respect for MSL , Jim Montgomery is available - quality coach like this doesn't pass by every day
5. Pezzetta wasn't perfect but at least he gave a good effort on the forth line
6. the Habs need more size and grit like what Xhekaj brings - this is the big league and there are players out there who play hard
7. Hutson is the only one on the team who can carry the puck from behind his net and enter the offensive zone because he's not afraid to try
conclusion: the Habs need to simplify and stay focused and this is all in the heads of the players.
3o seconds is better than what you get from everyone else I will take it
We can't question their skill, but anyone can judge and question effort. Ups and downs boys, ups and downs. Been training young guys (not in hockey) for 25 years ans just when you think they unterstand, they forget a measurement and scrap the product by cutting it too short. They're called brain farts, and they become less and less frequent as experience comes. Stay positive! GO HABS GO!
That was embarrassing to say the least
3rd line should like this for next 10 games 72-20-77, Mailloux in
The dream was to be "in the mix".
Lack of experience behind the bench and lack of discipline on the bench. The talent is there period.
Haven’t seen it? You must be young. We old guards were there when Roy quit the team.
Get the goalies from Laval NOW !!
They got caufield to PASS on the second line. He does not shoot anymore. I see that he has to be complete and he is so responsible that he is no longer a threat 5vs5.
He was known for his zone entries, now he just goes to the same spot and then skate back
. He’s afraid at this point and he has checked out like we do when we have a boss that is asking us stupid stuff.
This is a coaching decision.
At least Matheson started showing up 🤷🏻 and let's not forget there's trade talk again. The Habs play badly every time there's trade talk.
Well, that little positive streak ended with an exclamation mark. Not surprising. Sad, but not surprising. This team just is not very good. I've said it before and I'll say it again...HuGo are *not* doing a very good job of this rebuild.
Sam bailed them out in the 1st. They always seem lost, confused in both zones when we have a bad game. Coaching? I think so unfortunatly.
I predicted 5-2 vegas . I was wrong they sucked more than i predicted!
AA and AA because if I keep watching games like tonight I`ll need to go to AA meetings.
In my opinion Fowler will turn pro at the end of the season he literally can’t get any better playing in the NCAA
No excuses😠
Maybe it’s time to sit out Dach😠
Vegas pressures the puck all the time forcing mistakes and we don’t.
Healthy scratch you all know who needs to sit the hell with status on this team.
I know a guy who drove in from far to watch the game. Poor guy. Might have seen the worse game of the year. Sucks for the fans man..
I'm over Matheson and Dach on the PP. If I have to watch Kirby coast around, or try and thread the seam pass one more time, or Matheson shoot it into someone's shin pads I'm going to lose it.
The team will not be ready until if or when Demidov can lead them. He is our franchise
AAAA Get some Roy, Beck, Mailloux, Dobes from Laval ASAP, there is nothing to lose
Winning isn't going to get them anywhere but losing will.
Teams not good enough for a cup run just yet, and making the playoffs gets them what? More ticket sales? Who cares about that?
i think we need a 1a goalie if not a really good back up to help monty, i like monty so hopefully the second option lol
Dach is a dud. Hughes made a mistake getting him. Mistakes happen but it is a mistake to continue not to admit the mistake.
Teams do give up after being down a couple of goals. It is important however for the team to have a better effort. If they can't, then the coach has to be blamed.
Big pains before any gains.
I don’t like the dynamics of the d since Hutson came in we give too many 2on1s
Where is Nixk Slowzuki
Our guys are making mistakes from both ends they are rattled and trying to force passes. The D was trying to make breakout passes and it was getting cutoff. This is our forwards not using their IQ to be in better position to receive a pass in flight and the D trying to make passes that aren’t there. Vegas pounced on everything how many 2 on 1s were there. When it’s going like that better to dump it up the boards and our D should not gamble. If they back off it at least they have a chance of some forwards getting back. Every bouncing puck went to Vegas.
AAAA has to be consequences for lack of effort... horrible.
There is absolutely no chemistry on this team also they don't have enough scoring most of all they don't know how to forcheck
Patience!
Well we can hit a couture or misa in the draft so lets tank. Martin has zero first liners no Dman its sad
The players want the coach fired.
So do I.
I am starting to see Slaf is a flop. And Newhook was a bad trade.
CAaufield needs to improve in def play.
Dach is also a bad trade.
Lol this is not the roster come 2 years time, dvorak, anderson, armia, savard all contracts are done free agency and good prospects in laval bit cant play cause of contracts demidov, fowler coming in patience and if ya cant wait too bad
@@bradleypittman9370 We can't go 2 more years stinking this bad. What matters is now and fans are getting awfully pissed off paying top dollar to see a bottom feeder. The entire Bell center booing for half the game reflects this. We have Crap goalies. Zero Defense, Abysmal offense and a coach who seems more lost then the players. They gotta do something and fast. Fans are not expecting a playoff contender but they expect some freaking entertainment on a Saturday night. The players were barely giving a effort tonight.
They are gonna ruin some of the kids if they don't get them some help. They won't want to stick around for two more years if we just feed em to the sharks every night.

You just know, at this point, Suzuki and Caulfield are thinking that they're gonna waste their prime years playing here.
Seriously lol. We have the best up and coming team in the league and they are still under 23 lmao wake up
@garydohe ....Suzuki is 25 (26 in August), Caulfield is 23 (24 in 2 months) by the time this "best up and coming" team actually gets their act together, Suzuki will be out of his prime and Caulfield just leaving it.
What? We’re in year 3 of the rebuild lol. They were right, Habs fans can’t handle a rebuild.
@@garydohe Just like the Bergevin era “ the future is bright” .
When does it kick in ?
When is the Goaltending addressed? Fowler is 2-3 years away from the day he arrives in Laval?
When does the Primeau experiment end ?
Who cares , their softness is our problem. Cauffield can get traded for a real player anytime now hopefully
Rebuilding well afraid it will take another 3years they got to many picks it's time for free agents
