  • Swipe your screen and pan behind me. Watch this semi coming up on me. This man is going to kill someone. Today it was not me.

Not sure what I'm looking for here - the white semi with black mirrors that was 100-200' behind you?

This dude shadowed me for miles. Then when another semi goes to pass he cuts him off. I take it you did not watch this video.

@@tonysweet9137 I did watch the video - hence my question. I don't see him cutting the passing semi off and I don't see him getting abnormally close to you until you brake checked him.

@@nicktulloh At the very start you can see this semi as he goes to pass me. he then stops and slides in behind me. After staying behind me for miles the only way I could get him to pass me was to stop. This is the classic case of road rage. Passive aggressive is what it is and I for one and tired of it. After being almost killed by a truck just some 5 months ago, I have had my fill of passive aggressive people. As for how close he is. I never said he was trying to run me over. Yoi missed him cutting in front of the other semi. This is why I go into oncoming traffic. I am freaking out and not knowing what to do. You may not know I was almost killed by a truck not long ago.

@@tonysweet9137 To me the semi seems to be the least of a problem here. Get yourself checked for paranoia, dude. (And yes, I watched the whole f***g video twice.)

@@tonysweet9137 ... or it's a classic case of someone being fascinated by the velo and just watching it, maybe videoing it.... I understand you just had a dramatic, serious accident, I've had about a dozen of them (four totalled cars)..... if something like this is going to spook you this badly, maybe take a break from the road for a while..... I honestly didn't see him do anything out of the ordinary.... your inexplicable lane change and brake checking a semi on the other hand ......

Reminds me of the old Dennis Weaver movie "Duel": en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duel_(1971_film)

I wouldn’t classify the semi driver as experiencing road rage either. Either the driver is curious about the strange purple rocket, or they know that their semi could suck you towards it when they passed so they waited until you forced them to do so by brake checking them.
I get that it is annoying when drivers tail us for so long and I understand you being nervous about trucks after your accident, but he was staying a very safe distance behind you, not impeding traffic as there was another lame people could have used to go around, and waited to pass until it was very safe to do so.
I would encourage you to seek out a counselor to discuss possible ptsd from your accident. Having been hit hard by a car myself several times as both a car driver and a cyclist, ptsd is unfortunately part of the recovery process. It can help to work with a professional for this part just as it is to work with professionals to address the physical injuries as well.

This is a very small area or town. I have had issues with this trucking company or its drivers. One driver was coming at me the opposite direction and came into my lane aiming right at me. This happened right after I got my first velomobile and why I installed a 360 camera. After riding in this area now for 6 years they now what this is. Did you see at the start of this video how this driver went to pass me then stopped. This is a classic case of road rage.

@@tonysweet9137 what I see is a truck driver being extra careful. His pulling in behind instead of passing is just as likely him being careful than anything else. If you don’t want them waiting so long to pass, then call the company and tell them how you want their drivers to behave around you. I would give anything for drivers here to pull in behind instead of passing, especially if it was a truck. If this is what passes for road rage where you live, then you are fortunate indeed!

Maybe I should had mentioned the speed limit on this road is 55 and most do 65+. I drive this road almost everyday and in my car I set the cruise at 65.
