Janice, just a tip for anyone who has limited freezer space, I usually fry up my ground beef with my frozen onions and peppers. If I cook up 8 lbs of gr beef I will use 8 zip locks and use a measure to equally fill them. I lay them flat to freeze and store them in the door of my freezer!

Great deals Janice! I found that Sam's sells a case of frozen 21 premade, individually wrapped pizza crust for 25.00! Making them $1.18 each. You can't beat that for a large pizza crust and they are great❤. Yeah for the Shawn video, looking forwad to it😊

My sweet Janice, I was having an absolutely miserable day as I was stricken with another exacerbation of CHF. I needed to calm down and see straight and saw your video. Immediately upon hearing your voice, I began to calm down, however, I’m afraid that alone isn’t going to fix this episode. My cardiologist wanted me to go to the ER for a IV dose of Lasix (I refused as I hate hospitals) but he did give me the option to increase all 3 of my diuretics for the weekend. I will follow his instructions to the letter and I promise I will go to the ER if I’m still like this in the morning. My son paid you a big compliment saying, “Mom I wish we could clone your Missouri friend as she saves us lots of money AND she calms you down. 😇😇🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️😢😢😢

A family tradition is on the hottest day we have banana splits for supper. When we were kids we always looked forward to it. My kids loved it also. Winter was toast and hot cocoa. Homemade not prepackaged. Great fun we used marshmallow or Whipped cream.

Albertson's had a great sale last week. I got normally $112 for $86 with sales and digital coupons. When I showed my husband he fell in love with me all over again

I always get that Aldi ground beef on sale. It saves on freezer bags and time packaging it. It’s a better grade of beef and it stacks nicely in the freezer. I think it takes less space. That is a great price. I’m going to pick up more this week. I think I mentioned this beef in your last haul. Our local Giant Eagle store has a great three day sale…3# bags of apples $1.99, chicken drumsticks 88 cents a pound plus I had $2 digital coupon and bananas 39 cents a pound! Like you say Janice, “ It made me so happy!” An ice cream party sounds fun. I’ve had sundae bars with toppings that they could add. I always add snow peas to my stir fry.
I watch you often but tonight came to watch to calm down also,l had been watching some channels that were too frightening and depressing,l had to get off of that about what a horrible state our country is in and what's coming. Banana Bread Cinnamon Rolls 🍌
Ingredients:
For the Dough:
1 cup warm milk
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon salt
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup mashed banana (about 2-3 medium bananas)
For the Filling:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
For the Icing:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix warm milk with yeast and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
Add melted butter, eggs, salt, and mashed banana. Mix well.
Gradually add flour, stirring until the dough comes together. Knead on a lightly floured surface for about 10 minutes.
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
For the filling, combine butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
Roll out dough on a floured surface into a 20x14-inch rectangle. Spread the filling over the dough and sprinkle with walnuts, if using.
Roll up tightly from the long side. Cut into 12 rolls and place in a greased baking dish.
Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
For the icing, beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over warm rolls.
Prep Time: 2 hours | Cooking Time: 30 minutes | Total Time: 2 hours 30 minutes
Kcal: 450 kcal | Servings: 12 servings
Just wanted to let you know the T bone from last week was good. Made 3 meals out of one just for me. Also I picked up chuck roast this week from 10 Box and 10 pounds of the organic ground beef at Aldi this week I am all set for meat for a while. Thank you very much.

Hello Janice 😊 we were very fortunate we have friends that work in canneries here in California 🌴 every season we got 2 -15lb boxes of RANIER CHERRIES 🍒 my favorite and last week we got a huge box of PEARS 🍐 I’m not sure what’s next 🤣
My walmart sells a 12 count of English muffins for 2.48 you should check in to that at your walmart

How nice to watch again. Here too (Netherlands) always looking for cheaper groceries. I live outside the village and sometimes just buy potatoes from a farmer at his home. They are happy with cash, because the middlemen also cost them money. Sometimes buy with another family a so-called 'quarter cow' (organic meat) or a meat package of 30 kilos (all kinds of meat). I once calculated that that saves me about 40 euros. We also buy milk directly from the farmer and that! is a bit more expensive but much tastier (more fats i think), I have to cook that, I admit, because raw milk is sometimes not good for children or the elderly. We also have Aldi and Lidl here. I like to go there for flour, juice and snacks.

Has Janice ever mentioned the ten box store app? I see the discounts in the sale add, but I’ve never heard her say if she uses the app or not.
Janice.....sincere question. Have you ever, at the end of the year, added up how much you saved for the year by supplementing the produce, dairy, eggs, and meat you raised on your farm?
They also put the "oss leaders" at the end of the store so you have to pass all the other products and tempt you to buy them.

Also, in case this helps someone, if you’re a Prime Member and live in a large Metro area where Amazon offers Amazon fresh for groceries, they are offering 80% ground beef for $1.99a pound, which is a fantastic deal for my area. It isn’t organic and I know not everyone likes Amazon, but a great deal nonetheless I wanted to pass on. I bought the Aldi organic ground beef that Janice bought and then came across this deal and bought a bunch more for the deep freeze:
The chickpea pasta at Aldi only has chick peas listed as the ingredient. The other brands of chick pea pasta that are at other stores have additional ingredients.

Hi, I went shopping at Walmart today and bought 3 packages of salad at a reduced rate because of the reduced stick. Each bag was 224.
Just wondering if the stores you go to offer rain checks for items in the sale ad that are out of stock. Some of the stores here is Springfield MO do and some don’t. That way you could still take advantage of sale at a later time.

In Tulsa, we have a store called Savers Cost Plus. They do a 10% upcharge. I wonder if they are the same company. I always say I need to go to Aldi, but I order Walmart delivery.
They might be part of a similar chain, Susan! I do know that 10 Box is affiliated with Harp's, but there may be others connected to them as well. :)

I would seriously purchase Brisket from you if there was a way to. I am looking (ideally) for a sound bull, and a cow, to breed offspring for growing up to eat. He is beautiful. How is aldi's chick pea pasta verses others you have purchased. My local store carries barrila chick pea pasta for 3.19. I started using chick pea pasta after watching your videos because of being type 2 diebetic.
Janice, I have been watching some of your older what we eat in a week videos, and you were talking about having an adrenal crisis. Do you have Cushings disease? I have it because I have a growth on my adrenal gland. I was just wondering if you have any hints for me about how you deal with the adrenal crisis. I am also Diabetic. You were talking about back pain but I have not experienced that. I just feel like I am about to die and have to go to ER. It is horrible and the only way the Dr says we can deal with it is surgery and he doesn't think I can survive that.
