- Welcome to our world of Colour Passion, in this tutorial we are exploring a Delicious Charcuterie Board! Unfortunately on the first pour, there was an incorrect label on the Resin bottle and I mixed 2 Part A which would have never cured. I thought to myself as I was mixing it, it appears thicker but it was an updated version so continued on. Well when I came back to check on it I realised all was not well as it was still completely wet and not curing at all. It bothered me all night. Then on investigating I discovered I had indeed mixed 2 x Part A instead of the correct 1 x Part A and 1 x Part B! So in the second part of the video, I have scraped off the mishap and repoured over the top and all was well once again!

Thank you so much for your lovely kind feedback. Yes it was very frustrating with the mix up of labels. It was the supplier who stuck the incorrect labels and as it was a revised and updated batch I didn’t question it!! I’m now going to be more aware to check on things lol🤣❤❤

It's nice to see even you make mistakes. I have got into the habit of labeling bottles with A and B.

Actually it was a test set of an upgrade of the Resin with higher UV in it but the supplier has switched the labels incorrectly and as it was a new sample I didn’t think about it until I analysed everything!! But yes I do make mistakes and honestly I’m the first to say if you’ve made any mistakes - I’ve already made the same over my resin journey lol. Just gotta move forward!

But it certainly didn’t stop you from producing a beautiful piece of artwork on that board… I love, love, love that new Island Lustre!! I’ll be waiting for that one to be released!! I’m sure your friend will be wrapped with her new serving board!

@@colourpassion7341 I’m sure you will heal up nicely… and quickly… I like to think that they breed us Aussies pretty ‘true blue’ tough… all about tying it up with wire, just to keep the show on the road!! (Hoping you get that reference to very well known John Williamson song).
As for moving… yes, it’s always stressful… but, this time, we are actually moving our house, not moving house! We have an 18 metre relocatable building, that my hubby made into our one bedroom tiny home… we have just purchased a 6 acre block and our home will then be on its final resting place! Along with our dog, and our 3 horses! ♥️♥️🇦🇺

Beautiful pour Kim! 💙💚 I was making dinner while watching this.. and I looked again, and ohh noo! The resin I use for my resin paintings or pours is KSResin and they have the A and B with diff color caps which reminds me which is which. I appreciate your candor, because resin is a particular medium and stuff happens sometimes. The final result is beautiful! 😍

Hey Jen. Thank you very much. Nice to know I’m not the only one!! It was an update with more UV protection additives so I didn’t even think to check. It was only the following day it all unraveled when I went to the warehouse and discovered 2 different coloured bottles with the same labels that I figured out what had happened. The supplier had put the wrong labels on each set!!
Anyways all good now. The gorgeous new Island Lustre has the link below and you can find it on the website. I loaded it up early! ❤❤❤
