Dear as we know the function of control oil is to controling the governing system, here negligible heat dissipation during process, so inlet and outlet oil temperature is Approx same, we normally tap this Oil line before oil cooler to avoid any fluctuations in oil pressure because governing system needs constant oil pressure for operation that's why we using Accumulator, if we take after cooler chances of Pressure fluctuations is more if any tube blockage or puchure etc.
Operation of governor is same In Hydro electric power plant as in thermal plant we use hydro electric governor we use pivot valve though electric solenoids to control the speed of turbine.
Make detail video lines of governing oil line i.e trip oil start up oil aur sart up oil secondary oil aux sec oil test valve trip valve MTV starting device speeder gear etc...
