dawg this is so beautifully filmed. these dudes are 22 and 23. they are becoming too powerful. also s/o to the sound dude for finally giving zach a mix where his bass can show wassup (ending licks are awesome)
Appreciate the kudos, especially for appreciating the finer details like a great audio mix. Alex, our engineer, sure is proud of the work he does & thanks you for noticing. Cheers!
I had no idea this ever happened! I live near cocoa and my high school jazz band played there a couple months ago. I had no idea i was sitting where hippo campus played. I know they play a bigger venues now that they're so popular but if they came back to cocoa village I'd probably cry. I am crying. I played on the same stage as hippo campus and my piano was right where nathan is standing oh my god
THIS IS A DAMN MUSIC VIDEO!! love the camera work, it's so sharp and i can hear zach's bass for once!! edit: also the drums sound binaural, i'm hella impressed omggggg
I saw a cigarette contend It was the smell of death that kept strolling in Maybe that henna'd back of yours That held me back, back from keeping score There goes that moonboy Looking jungly With all his leaves a-growing Split down that long back He would've thought that If you got to know him True blue with your fists up You little kiss up Wishin' things were heavy That's fine in the end though Where'd all our friends go We can dip if you're ready I bet you take me for a fool Nothing like, like rules the cool sensation of Pollock and Jules Some weird abandon in the sheets Though the tongue tastes good My grammar's falling from the cheeks There goes that moonboy Looking jungly With all his leaves a-growing Split down that long back He would've thought that If you got to know him True blue with your fists up You little kiss up Wishin' things were heavy That's fine in the end though Where'd all our friends go We can dip if you're ready I was wrong You were a friendly kid I was wrong You were a friendly kid Fill the rafters Right field dances Baseball diamonds Take our chances out There's somethin' fiction 'bout the way that reality's going Seems like the chakra's playing hopscotch Anxiety growing Some cordial framework of the sunset A yellow made out of gray My bones are tired of the body That woke me up today There goes that moonboy Looking jungly With all his leaves a-growing Split down that long back He would've thought that If you got to know him True blue with your fists up You little kiss up Wishin' things were heavy That's fine in the end though Where'd all our friends go We can dip if you're ready I was wrong You were a friendly kid I was wrong You were a friendly kid I was wrong I was wrong I was wrong
Oh, and these were the only two songs that were chosen to be produced. But hopefully we'll get a chance to work with these fellas again down the road. Thanks for tuning in!

3:03 - 3:17 ZACH!!! AMAZING!!!
Zack has more bass swag than any bassist out there.
When you can finally hear Zach's base 😫👏

That's a pretty cool experience for you! Have you watched their performance of "South" from that same show & stage? It's streaming on our channel now.
The trumpet in the end! 🔥
one of their best live performances holy shit
Finally, a clear live version 🙌🏼
Dude the sound of the bass is so crisp in this! I love this video!
Too underrated
I watch this video at least twice a day every day

More than any other singer I know, Jake sings in cursive.

I just got into these guys with this song and they’re amazing. Can anyone recommend any songs that have this vibe by them?
YEAH ZACH
bass sound so crisp
Awesome video bro! 👍👍👍
I saw a cigarette contend
It was the smell of death that kept strolling in
Maybe that henna'd back of yours
That held me back, back from keeping score
There goes that moonboy
Looking jungly
With all his leaves a-growing
Split down that long back
He would've thought that
If you got to know him
True blue with your fists up
You little kiss up
Wishin' things were heavy
That's fine in the end though
Where'd all our friends go
We can dip if you're ready
I bet you take me for a fool
Nothing like, like rules the cool sensation of Pollock and Jules
Some weird abandon in the sheets
Though the tongue tastes good
My grammar's falling from the cheeks
There goes that moonboy
Looking jungly
With all his leaves a-growing
Split down that long back
He would've thought that
If you got to know him
True blue with your fists up
You little kiss up
Wishin' things were heavy
That's fine in the end though
Where'd all our friends go
We can dip if you're ready
I was wrong
You were a friendly kid
I was wrong
You were a friendly kid
Fill the rafters
Right field dances
Baseball diamonds
Take our chances out
There's somethin' fiction 'bout the way that reality's going
Seems like the chakra's playing hopscotch
Anxiety growing
Some cordial framework of the sunset
A yellow made out of gray
My bones are tired of the body
That woke me up today
There goes that moonboy
Looking jungly
With all his leaves a-growing
Split down that long back
He would've thought that
If you got to know him
True blue with your fists up
You little kiss up
Wishin' things were heavy
That's fine in the end though
Where'd all our friends go
We can dip if you're ready
I was wrong
You were a friendly kid
I was wrong
You were a friendly kid
I was wrong
I was wrong
I was wrong
the dude in the back:
ayo i can play tambourine hmu

Great song...
But I’m all about dat bass.
