I enjoyed the video extremely so. But most of all I enjoyed you and your husband. I also enjoy the fact that you have a recipe and that you also in the video say how much of what you need. It’s just the absolute perfect video for me and I will definitely try this. I’ll be looking for more of your recipes. Thanks again.
My husband loves baked spaghetti and I make it at least once a month. The recipe I use calls for cottage cheese, cream cheese and sour cream, that’s the cheese mixture and you layer it. Spaghetti, cheese mixture, spaghetti, meat mixture and then cheese. I will have to try the ricotta cheese in place of the cottage cheese. Thanks for the recipe! 😊
It looks so yummy l would love to try it we love spaghetti with meat balls but it mig be nice to try it like this thank you so much for sharing hope you have a lovely weekend God's blessing to all your family x ❤
Looks delicious. I might want to put a bit more cheese, either some cheddar or parmesan (because I love cheese). I've also never had ricotta in my spaghetti but looking forward to giving it a try. Thank you for sharing.
Looks absolutely delicious. I love Rao’s sauce; it’s very very good. I would make this with spaghetti. I made something like this with penne. Thanks a million Tami for baking this up for us and sharing recipe. Enjoy n have a wonderful day.😊😊😊
Ok this looks amazing!! I think this would give Snoop's (sorry Dogg) recipe a run for his money! 😂 I am making this as soon as possible! I add ricotta on top of my spaghetti all the time but incorporating it and baking it sounds like a home run. Can't wait to try this!! 😋
I use a lot of ricotta. Other than pasta, I use it for ricotta cookies, cheesecake (the only way I can eat cheesecake 😂), pizzagaina (Easter pie), pastiera di riso (rice pie), meatballs, zeppole, cakes, cannolis, pancakes, pizza... A lot of stuff. 😄 I even make it at home sometimes since it's probably the easiest cheese to make. But when I buy it, I stick to Galbani. 😁I'm sure Kevin would love it!
I like Galbani! I always used Polly-O or Breakstone's (back in the day). There is another brand I can't remember that was good but expensive. I hate Daisy brand anything!
Sometimes you can get a sale on Rao's and it is worth it, but yes it is really expensive! Name brand ricotta usually is somewhat expensive too, but maybe the GV wasn't so bad. The meat and spaghetti is cheap unless you buy fancy spaghetti brand and sirloin or fancy ground meat. Ground Beef and Chuck, which are the fattier kinds, are not terribly expensive. In comparison to other foods, you can really fill up your family cheaply with that (esp. if you get a cheaper sauce).
I use Canned Hunts Spaghetti Sauce and love it. I know there is probably better quality out there. But if you factor in quality and price it’s very much a winner!
I love ricotta cheese, I’ll eat it by the spoonful! Polly-o makes a really delicious one… whole milk ricotta is best! I would have to sub extra ground beef for sausages (not a fan) abd would probably use a less expensive sauce. Raos is extremely good but with all the added ingredients another less expensive sauce would be just as good.
I've tried rao's plenty of times and I can never really tell a huge difference flavor wise from a prego. I know it has cleaner ingredients and I can appreciate that but I still don't think it's worth the nearly 10$ price tag
That’s an interesting recipe and it looked nice straight out the oven, but seems like it has way too many ingredients for me. Apparently ricotta you get in 🇺🇸 isn’t the same as you’d get in Italy, same with Parmesan, it’s not the same. Thanks for the review.
@@TamiDunn I watch Pasta Grammar, which has authentic Italian recipes cooked by an Italian and it’s something she and her husband made a video about. I found them near the start of their channel and they grew very very quickly.
Baking the pasta was totally unnecessary imo. I'd mix the pasta and the meat sauce directly and serve it with the cheese mix on the side. Cold cheese mix would provide a refreshing element.
To each his/her own, but there is NOTHING like baked spaghetti or ziti and when you add ricotta as a warm item, it brings out all the sweetness and yum! Cold really brings it down for me. Not refreshing to me; more a shock to the system. Kind of like cold lettuce and tomato kind of ruining hot food.

I hope he enjoys it. That ricotta cheese is so delicious.
I use cottage cheese in my Lasagne
Ricotta is sweeter, I have found. Sour cream is an interesting alternative!
@@jbjacobs9514 the sour cream, cottage cheese (small curd) and cream mixture tastes great in the casserole. I want to try the ricotta
It looks so yummy l would love to try it we love spaghetti with meat balls but it mig be nice to try it like this thank you so much for sharing hope you have a lovely weekend God's blessing to all your family x ❤
Raos is the best!!!

Looks great! To the horror of Italians everywhere, I break the pasta before boiling.
You do your thing! 🙌🏻

I just wish they would release Prego bolognese sauce in our area! Still too new I guess but you highly recommended it in your review.

@@jbjacobs9514 Belgioiso?
Daisy cottage cheese is awful! Aldi’s is actually quite good… so is great value…
Try making an Italian Cheese Cake. It is made with the Ricotta cheese not cream cheese and it is so good.
Italian cheesecake is the only type of cheesecake I like. It's so delicious!!!
Should I use the whole box of spaghetti? Great video!!
Yes! 😃
That was funny, the camera lens got steamy and I have worn glasses for 56 yrs, so by reaction I shook my head!!!
That is funny!
Raos sauce is $$$$$ alone plus the cheeses and the meat. Not cheap at all but I know it's delicious.

This was expensive to make; I agree.
It serves 6 or one me 😁
😂😂
Very interesting mix and baked is the best! Love this recipe. Garlic bread or toast would be great with this. Warm ricotta is so great.
I agree!! Thank you 😊
In the oven for dinner tonight. Subbed the meats for ground turkey. Reminds me of lasagna.... which we love!
I hope you enjoyed it!
Mmmmm Spaghetti :)
The recipe shouldn't be suggesting Rao's if it is meant to not cost a fortune 😅 Looks delicious
Honestly, Prego would be just fine. With all the cheese, you can’t taste any difference.
I use Canned Hunts Spaghetti Sauce and love it. I know there is probably better quality out there. But if you factor in quality and price it’s very much a winner!
Looks Delicious
Thank you 😋
Delicious looking recipe! I wish I had that brown Pyrex dish. They just don't make them like they used to.
Thank you 😃

Now, that really does look good!

This looks so delicious! Im scared to try Raos, though. Im afraid I'll love it and not be able to buy Prego again 😂
I would recommend Prego for this dish. You can’t tell the difference 😃
@@TamiDunn good to know! Thank you! 😊
This looks SOOOOO GOOD~! I'm not a spaghetti fan, but I gotta make this eventually!
Thank you!
That looks good! The cheese mix looked a bit difficult to spread.. I wonder if it could be piped on?
I like that idea!
Could you just mix all together?
I've tried rao's plenty of times and I can never really tell a huge difference flavor wise from a prego. I know it has cleaner ingredients and I can appreciate that but I still don't think it's worth the nearly 10$ price tag
I personally don’t think it tastes better than other brands- especially when it’s being mixed in like in this recipe.
This is my kind of recipe 😋 Yes, ricotta cheese works really well in a lot of dishes. Loved how enthusiastic Kevin was about it 😂❤️
Good stuff!
Thank you ❤️
Not gonna lie... I was skeptical, but damn that looks good!
Thank you 😊
Rao"s is supposed to be the best Jarred sauce how did you like it?
Mixed with all the cheese in this recipe, I could have saved some money & bought Prego 😃

What do you think the difference is in the cheese? Is ours wetter?

It’s personal preference, I guess. We definitely want it baked.

Oh yes, Chef Tammy did a good job.
Thank you!
