@@Bokator2 I think a few new nfs games do run on frostbite.. the thing is, the frostbite engine is built from ground up for fps games. Not racing games.. so the physics gets all wonky and jank.. they really need to make a different engine with similar graphics capability but completely different handling characteristics

I don't understand why they made the game darker. I mean, the game was originally very dark. There are some places on the map where you can barely see your car clearly, and now these idiots have made it darker 🤦🏻♂️

EA and Criterion really need to take notes. Codemasters especially, because they'll be the ones doing most of the work on the game. Look at past Need For Speed games, and then also look at the modding community's work. Write down what people liked most, what they liked least, what could use some work, what features should be taken out or doubled down on, etc. The Project Unite mods and their many evolutions are just a perfect example. Give the developers ideas of what to work with. We understand that features may get cut or removed because they run on deadlines (that is EA for you, always pushing nonsensical deadlines), but they really should be given time to work with what they have. If they try a bunch of different approaches and it doesn't work, that's completely fine, we all get it. But if you force a deadline on them that makes no sense, you are pretty much encouraging them not to try new things and to only scan over bits and pieces of advice from the community, but never take it into account. New edit as of June 16th, 2021: EA and Codemasters should also take some notes from the Xbox E3 this year. Battlefield 2042 looked quite impressive, alongside Halo Infinite, Stalker 2, Forza Horizon 5, Psychonauts 2, and many other titles.
This game is dirt cheap on Steam right now, and I still can't justify buying it, just to mod it to make it better, and *still* need to be online. A modded game. Online. The only reason I'm even watching this video is because even though I'm having lot's of fun in Heat, my last modern NFS being 2012's MW, I still love the look of this city, and I don't think I'll ever ride in it, as long and it remains always online.

Hey boss gaming, you should do NFS startup cutscenes or intros how ever u wanna call em, like for example in NFS undercover, there is a starting cutscene and after that you play as the Nissan 350z as the intro

Is the AI able to deal with the modded handling properly? I remember there was another mod that adjusted the driving physics and the AI couldn't handle it, so it would just lose control, hitting walls and everything everywhere.
Can you play this now? How is the handling? Better? Like Heat or Payback? I really disliked the grip that's why I stopped playing it on PS4. I want to buy the game and mod it but I don't wanna waste money.
