Mmmmmmm, That pizza looked really delicious I will have to give that a try on my Woodfire grill using the parchment paper, never thought of that before. Keep those videos and recipes coming. I really enjoy them up here in Preskitt, AZ.
So glad I ran across your video. I love the occasional pizza, but we don't go out to eat very often as we are saving money and like to control the ingredients used in our food. I tried it with one of Trader Joe's pizza doughs in a bag and it works perfectly! Thank you!
Loved your instructions they were plain and clear. Making this pizza tonight for supper. Thanks. Oh! great tip on letting the bad smoke out. Love this ninja woodfires' grill. ALSO New Subscriber.
Krásný a určitě všestranný, také jsem po něm toužil zaplatil 53 UDS a později jsem zjistil že jsem naletěl gril je několikanásobně dražší ale co všechno dokáže určitě vynahradí jeho schopnosti. Peter - Looks Excellent! What temperature did you set the Ninja at? It also looks like you were in Grill mode from the Video. I am cutting a 12x16 pizza stone down to fit my XL Griddle Plate and am planning to run in Broil mode for 30 minutes to get the Stone really hot before putting the pizza on it. Will then switch to Bake mode to finish it off. Do you have any other suggestions?
Ray, thank you. Yes, grill mode on high. Let the grill heat for about 16-20 minutes to get it as hot as it can. I think the broil mode is a good idea to get the stone hot, but you really are not going to need the stone if you let the unit preheat with just the metal plates. Thanks for your comment. Let me know what city you are watching from please. Peter
Great video! I’m going to try this to make a pizza for my husband. Peter You forgot to add this video to your Ninja WoodFire Grill Playlist. Watching from Oregon. We’re having to much smoke 💨 this Summer 🌲 not the right kind of Ninja 💨 that I love.❤️
I added pellets because I was after the 'woodfired' flavor. I did let the pellets burn their initial burn during the ignition period to do away with the acrid smoke, and then put the pizzas in. The first one had a good amount of smoke flavor that I liked, the 2nd one less which some other people liked. Thanks for asking the question. Peter
Hi, I am wondering what's best between using the grill mode or the roast mode ? I believe the roast mode is more like a pizza oven, heat and smoke coming from everywhere, where the grill mode only heats the bottom...
How do you deal with the pepperoni being blown around by the fan? I find it blows toppings and even bread slices off grilled cheese sandwiches (toothpicks are an option here).
Ok so it may not appeal to the Pizza snobs, but this looks pretty damn good to me. That Ninja really is a versatile little unit. Great video (subscribed)
Does the smoke come out of your pellet box? I just got a new one and it seems like a lot of smoke is coming out of the pellet box. I'm going to make pizza.....this look wonderful!
Interesting I didn't think of cooking pizza on this. I'm on the fence between purchasing the woodfire pizza oven and This (XL) . I do like the traditional top open better. Cleaning has to be easier than the oven.
Hi, I purchased the Oven,, and sent it back! I think the XL grill is a better choice. Yes, the oven can get up to 700 degrees, BUT, the grills can heat 500+ with proper warm-up time and your pizza will cook in just a couple more minutes than the oven. For me, the decision is the XL! Peter
@@CookingWithPeterOK Yeah i don't want a tedious clean up. I'm OCD about cleaning my weber propane grill after each grill. And its not easy to clean to my standards. If I dont clean it at least a day after a grill I'll have sleepness nights 😂. I am leaning more towards the XL but putting the oven on my "nice to have" list.
I just wanted to let you know I made you pizza on the Ninja Woodfire Grill. It was really good! Could you let me know how much is the weight of the dough. I also wanted to let you know the cornmeal on the parchment paper was the bomb! It tastes great and keeps it from burning! Thanks!
Thank you for trying it and for your nice comment. The pizza dough is about 1 pound. I have other videos on how to make pizza dough 4 ways so you can watch those if you like. Please subscribe if you haven't already. Thanks. Peter
So glad I found this video. Saved me from buying a pizza stone or the new ninja pizza oven that goes up to 900 degrees
Kathie, I'm glad you found it too! I'll send you my mailing address and you can send the check to... please subscribe if you haven't already! Thank you, Peter
Your pizza on the ninja wood fire look great I have to try that. Thanks for the recipe.
Thank you, Aaron!
Peter don't you worry about the backlash, you do you! I have yet to make my first pizza 🍕 on my woodfire but I have imagined doing it the same way.
Thanks, most of the comments we get are positive, there are some haters! LOL. Thanks for your comment, Peter.
The only thing missing is a nice cold beer followed by an Arturo Fuente. Great video Peter!
Thanks for watching Tom! I hope you and your family are doing great! Peter

Thank you for your nice comments Robert. I agree, using the parchment paper makes it so easy to get the pizza on and off the grill! Peter
Great looking pizza! I will have to try that out on my Woodfire grill. Thanks for sharing

That crunch was awesome. Getting my XL today and looking forward to trying pizzas on it!
It's a great all around machine. I've cooked pizzas on it many times. Use my parchment paper idea it works great! Peter

Thank you for showing this method! Sort of like a "pizza steel" scenario using the griddle insert. Ill be sure to try your method with mine!
Exactly! The parchment paper makes it super easy to get the pizza on and off the grill. Enjoy.

Peter, I am out here in San Jose, CA. Still have Tomatoes growing in the garden.
Thanks Ray, lucky you with the tomatoes! Peter
UPDATE !!!. Cooking With Peter. This Pizza was the BOMB. Folks you got to try this.
Glad it turned out for you! I have another video coming in January for Sicilian style pizza on the Ninja Woodfire Grill! Peter
Just like others, you saved me a whole ton of money. Thanks for a well-thought-out video.
Not so fast, check out my latest video on the pizza cooked in the Ninja Woodfire Oven! Peter

I'll fix that. Thanks for the heads up! Funny about the smoke! Dad, but good to have some humor about it! Peter
Did you add pellets or just grill it?
Looks delicious!

that looks excellent , my ninja is turning up in a few days and il be making that for sure , thanks pal from the UK.

I just got my Ninja, and hope I can be as good as you.

Hi, I am wondering what's best between using the grill mode or the roast mode ? I believe the roast mode is more like a pizza oven, heat and smoke coming from everywhere, where the grill mode only heats the bottom...
Not sure it really matters because the cooking space is so small I think everything gets pretty hot. Peter
I have this grill so happy I found this video saved me from buying a pizza oven!
Excellent! I said the same thing for months and broke down and bought the Ninja Woodfire Oven too, AND the larger grill. lol enjoy
How do you deal with the pepperoni being blown around by the fan? I find it blows toppings and even bread slices off grilled cheese sandwiches (toothpicks are an option here).
With this unit use the grill mode. The grill heats from underneath not the crisper fan. Peter
Thanks. I’ll give it a try.
Great Video 🎉
Thank you. Peter
Made them yesterday!! They were amazing 😋

Thank you Mark! Agreed the pizza snobs can go spend $40 on a pizza and be happy. I just wanna eat some tasty pizza. Peter

Hi, is that the Ninja Woodfire Pro XL or the original Ninja Woodfire grill?
Sammy, I have the original model. Peter
@@CookingWithPeterOK Thank you! I've been trying to decide on whether to get the original or the newer XL.

That first bite, man! Burn the top of your mouth for sure. Looks delish!

Top part doesn't look cooked enough
It was cooked well, and tasted even better. But as you know, everyone has an opinion. Thanks for the comment. Peter
This pizza does not look good all tbh
