Translating the thing in its entirety will take a reaaaaally long time so here's the general idea, from what I can understand. There are some points that I missed out/didn't include due to my general lack of complex Japanese knowledge lmao.
Kenji and Koji rarely talk to each other face to face on air aside from guest appearance on radios
Sousei Jikan = Creation time/Twin time
It is rather rare to see dizygotic twins and most people associate "twins" with brothers who look identitcal or similar but they completely don't look alike
CHAI has monozygotic twin sisters
They will talk about their feelings about certain event in chronological order
The Mihara family has 6 members, where they have 2 older sisters. The eldest sister that is now living on her own really like art, fashion, music etc
Their father plays the guitar and their mother likes to sing so their home always had a record or the radio playing, constantly surrounding them with music. Though they both had some interest and contact with music, Koji was the first to really get into music in Middle School. Both of them initially joined the athletics club but Koji switched midway because of a new interest in music. Kenji didn't know that Koji was playing a bass at the time and described it as "a guitar but not a guitar".
Their sisters also liked music and went to various live houses. Koji also didn't know that the "guitar" that he was playing was called a bass and simply thought "oh this has lesser strings than the guitar so it should be easier to play".
In middle school 2nd year, Kenji still didn't understand the fun of performing but he did find singing fun when he goes to karaoke with his friends. In the next year, for their culture festival, it was announced that Koji's club was to perform. There were around 7 songs, 7 bands (1 song per band) so the guitarists and the vocalists were constantly changing EXCEPT for Koji, who was consistently the bassist because nobody else was one. Seeing that, Kenji and the audience thought Koji was amazing for being able to play all 7 songs. At the same time, Kenji felt like he saw a new way of life for Koji and thought it must be really fun. Koji taught Kenji that playing music, not just listening to it, can also be fun. Because they're twins, they often played with the same things but seeing this difference, Kenji felt jealous of Koji so in High school, Kenji decided to join the light music club.
Koji found his interest really fast and once he found it, he's already attending festivals such as Summer Sonic. Koji was listening to Hardcore and Punk Rock in middle school. He also went to various live houses.
In high school, they not only watched performances at live houses, they also performed themselves. They had classmates who used to play trumpets and other wind instruments from a different club join theirs to learn to play the drums. These additions brought variety to their club(?)
Kenji went to a vocational school after high school so he had to be in a band with other students, meeting all sorts of people and talking about music with them but he still preferred Koji's music feeling(?) so if he ever went professional, it had to be with Koji.
Koji also thought the same way with Kenji. Koji already liked to create things so he wanted to go to a school that allows him to create. Even though they went their separate ways, it felt natural for Koji to still be with Kenji since they've been together for so long.
Kenji understood that Koji has talents that he would never be able to reproduce. Even now, there are times where only Kenji would understand when the 4 of them talk.
Koji liked emo type songs that sort of talks about reality...?
Koji respects the singing techniques that Kenji had learnt in school. In art school, Koji realised that even if your sense is good, if you lack the ability it becomes difficult to express yourself. Koji also sings but with Kenji's singing presence, he realises that he lacks things that Kenji has. When he and Kenji join hands, it becomes another way of expression and that's what Frederic is. It makes things interesting and let him see various things.
Kenji, on the other hand, he thinks he is good at nothing but once he finds something that he is good at, he sticks to it for the rest of his life. In middle school, since he was in the athletics club, he kept trying to look for something he was good at in the athletics club which he never found. But when he goes to karaoke with friends, they often say that he was good at singing. There were also people that told him to try to do vocal training that was when he realised singing was his talent that he could try to work on and thus he stuck to it ever since. But in music, even if you have the ability, if your sense is bad you'll also won't make it. In this world, you can't make it with just abilities. With that in mind, thinking about things that he has and lacks, he looked up to Koji but at the same time was also jealous of him in a way that he recognises his abilities and thus wanted to form the band with Koji. Koji says the same about Kenij.
They arrived at the same conclusion from different perspective. That's the gist of how they started up the band.
Next episode talks about how they built up the band as twins.
