    Love my Denver Ducks!! I'm from Denver but live in Eugene, OR now. Watched Bo and Troy the last two years and it was amazing. I hope they continue to have that great connection playing with the Broncos as they start their Pro careers. Plus, it's going to be great watching Bo connect with the other players. I'm so glad the Broncos drafted Bo and Troy! Go Ducks! Go Broncos!!!

    Cody, you and I are on the same page, as I was thinking it, then you started saying it. Payton is not going to "fix" Z.Wilson! Wilson has to put in the time and it is possible that Payton's system will be more friendly for him, but improvement will be on Zach for it to take place.
    Payton has received a lot of credit for QB's that showed a little success, but none of.them but none of them had long-term success. Payton may have a good system, he just needs the QB to run it
    Nix is that guy. Payton can't run a different system, which is why Russ is gone, so lets put the guy in that is best for his system.

    Cody and Sayre, as always bring up excellent points. I agree in that Nix needs to be our starter. I'm just hoping BRONCOS COUNTRY understands he will struggle at times. We're so hungry for a QB and jaded by the Russel Wilson Experience that fans want instant satisfaction. Even ELWAY wasn't all that good his first few seasons.

    Bo is going to surprise folks. He’ll learn the offense faster than most. He’s smart and an elite processor. He’s got a better arm than gets recognized. He throws guys open, which is absolutely a translatable skill to the NFL. He’s a coaches son, and his dad/coach was also a quarterback. These things make a difference. And he’s very mentally tough so a rough patch to start out isn’t going to cripple him or get in his head.

    All the hype, deservedly, is on Bo Nix. Still, it can’t be just me. I want to see Zach Wilson get a chance to run this offense. Probably a lower floor, but maybe a higher ceiling as well.

      I agree. Zach is fun to watch when he’s protected behind a good Offensive line. He picked Mahomes and KCC apart last year and almost got out of KC with a win

      I think this is pretty simple…. Bo nix was hand selected by Sean P. Thats HIS GUY. 61 career starts, 24 years old, super smart, and we drafted his number one receiver and center last year. Bo nix is going to start the season. I dont see how we could put jarrett sthidham in front of him based of how he played in the last 2 games last year. He was mehhhh. We dont need mehhh. Love the show, as usual.

      I'll be very surprised if Bo isn't starting by week 2, if not outright. He's the best fit for Paytons offense since Brees. He's also the highest drafted qb Paytons ever taken.

    The only reason to play all three against one another is to push them. Bo Nix needs to be pushed so he doesn't get stale, so to speak. I think he will be the starter.

    I think Bo is the starter week 1. If he's doing this well in rookie minicamp I expect that to continue into training camp and preseason. By all accounts he understands the playbook and is putting the time in to master it. He's a hard worker that impresses Payton and the offensive coaching staff. To me it would take a fluke miracle to get Zach Wilson who isn't known for his short or intermediate game or timing, or Stidham who severely lacks accuracy, to win the starting job.

    Most of the time it takes a college quarterback a year or two to be NFL starter ready. Maybe Bo Nix will be an exception. No matter who starts I think the team will win more than 8 games this season. I could be wrong, but it's the second full year under Sean Paytons winning culture. The guy knows his stuff. Players that make it through training camp, and make the starting lineup, will be entrenched into Coach Paytons culture. Good things coming in 2024 I hope. Always a fan. Go Broncos!!

    Given Bo's age and experience level he has to start. Not sure I would start him week 1 in Seattle that's a real tough place to play. But he has to have a few games before he hits that stretch in November.

      @@markp2629 Remember I tried to give you a chance to walk it back and you had to go full 🤡 Your expert analysis is that the guy that just got drafted hasn't played in the NFL? There has never been any more experienced college quarterback than Bo. He fought through adversity, he learned multiple systems and exceeded. No way that would translate to the NFL? Except I would encourage you to watch Sean Payton's most recent interview where he discusses Bo's "experience" almost like it was cut and paste from my comment days earlier.

    Everyone trashes Zach for his experience in NY. I watched most of his games. I can’t remember a single play where he wasn’t running for his life. The Jets O-Line was pathetic and neglected. Even Aaron Rodgers couldn’t last more than four snaps before they had to carry him off the field. Give Zach a little time and he will light you up!

    If he doesn’t earn the right to start, Bo should not start. Start the best QB in the room. 99% of the people in these comments aren’t given top boss employment without earning it, so why should Bo be any different? Bottom line is if SP wants Bo to work out, he will actually give him his all to make it work.🤨

      How and why?

    • @Coldcut_productions
      @Coldcut_productions 4 месяца назад +1

      I've been watching Stidham since Auburn, He's was an amazing QB in collage, obviously a big adjustment going into the NFL... However, he spends his first season under Brady, There's no QB competition there. Then, when Cam Newton stepped in, and well, I'd assume most can agree that's when the Pat's-Belichick Era was on a steady decline and Stidham had hardly any play time... fast forward to the Raiders in 2 starts, he got 656 yards, 64% completetion rate and 4 passing TD's. That's with hardly any play time. Then, for the Broncos 2 starts, he did just as well... With that being said, I feel Payton knows that with some play, they have a really good starter and one that has some potential to groom Bo even with his lack of starter experience.

    • @Coldcut_productions
      @Coldcut_productions 4 месяца назад +1

      To add, I'm not even a huge Auburn fan. I just had a friend of mine claiming that Stidham was "the future of the NFL." And at the time, I was kinda just watching because I liked Dwayne Haskins, and I thought he was gonna be a big name. But began to see a lot in Stidham as well.
