I am really not pleased with the characterization of Amame by Takato Okurat this time, because it is like he is trapped in his KAITO from the "Red Bridge" films. This scene here is a good example of that... as it does not feel as nostalgic as it should. There most dominate a much deeper sense of melancholy on Amame's voice... but he speaks the lines just too emphatic. Maybe I just have a too opposite idea of this character from the manga. But since Wataru Hyuga is really great as RYU I will focus entirely on the story, which is altogether is coming out very well. It is very interesting to see the influences of TAKASHI Furusawa here on the director Hana Matsumoto who even used some of Takashi's most favorite trademarks, like buying 2 different flavor's of things and then sharing then together to discover their taste... or that sunset ice-cream scene from Episode 1 both quotes from the film "Love & Lies" 2017. The best scene highlight of EP 2 for me was the opening scene in the public bath, and their dialogue... because that is the moment they embrace each other completely. Cheers...!
