Life is tough and at least because of societal pressure and guilt is what wakes up a man to be someone at least by their late 20s or early 30s. Your problem is that you want to be PRODUCTIVE at a WEEKEND. This is the difference between US and EU. Simply stop gaming, go out and have some fun! Nobody said you've to work at weekends.
I'd argue it depends on the games you play and why you play them...I for one play alot of JRPG's because I enjoy the story and characters and to me that is fulfilling...and a job from home (a graphic design job) is perfect for me.
We need to be equally productive in the weekends. If not more. Since we have entire day with us we can go on a long walk on a trail, cook some new recipe, or learn a new skill for couple of hours. The fulfillment afterwards is incomparable with the petty pleasures we get through pornography or eating junk

This is basically my life, but I've come to terms with it. No one reasonable says you have to do something productive everyday.
Every morning i do the dishes and bring wood to the house.Do a little every day and thats enough.It all adds up.

Society is insane and its getting crazier every day.
