I'm glad that this past week gave switch owners a chance to experience the overwhelming power of MATH and these characters show up again in Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance
glad to see you're enjoying the game!! the gameplay clearly shows its origins on the DS 😅 if it helps, I personally find the switch version of the game *much* more manageable in touchscreen mode compared to gyro controls! (I basically play the game ONLY on touchscreen mode now lol, the attack recognition is much better than gyro 😫)
I know DS games can be difficult to capture for a Let's Play, so I don't blame you for playing the Final Remix version, but trust me when I say the original DS game is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than the Switch port. I highly recommend playing the original in your own time to feel the difference. The "partner" system flat-out doesn't work in the port, as well as several types of good pins being unusable. The port has a slight extension to the story, but otherwise the DS version is better in basically every regard.
You should also try this game on the NDS, that is the original way of playing it. if you want to recreate that experience on the Final Remix version, start the coop mode and use both joycons to control both characters, by yourself.
"Oh honey, we'll MAKE you brave enough." This is so funny in hindsight. That's like telling Arsène to wear a turtle neck, with the side comment of "darling, you NEED to upgrade your wardrobe."
So I own the soundtrack to this game it’s amazing. They also have besides the OST a couple remix albums with alternate versions of songs. One is a 1970s discoesque version. Highly recommend buying all of the albums
