Hey Brittany, I know you play games but I’m not sure if you’ve seen or played it yet, BUT STRAY IS OUT. I finished the whole game yesterday and it was amazing ❤️ For those who don’t know, Stray is a PC/PS game where you play as a cat :) As for the book silhouette thing, I guess you put in between books on your shelf so the figure sticks out but honestly it seems like a hazard =))
Her videos had helped me a lot since I lost my headphones, to exercise or do home stuff, ‘cause her voice is so smooth and the content it’s pretty chill and cute, love it!!! 🥰🥰🥰🖤✨
While I quite enjoy thebookishshop’s special editions, shipping is ALWAYS a pain. Like last year, I had ordered their FBAA editions (in January or February) and they didn’t come until September (with delay upon delay). Their shipping “estimates” are at least another extra month before they will even receive the books and therefore, maybe an extra week or so by the time the book(s) ship. I only live about 2 hours away from their office, so I get my book(s) pretty quickly once they actually ship, thankfully. However, it is disappointing not to receive something you paid for so long ago, but at this point, I’m so used to it 🤷🏼♀️
I preordered Chain of Iron from the bookish shop which came with a shirt and a couple other things. The shirt had a misprint on it. They sent out a form for people to request a replacement if they had received a misprinted shirt. I filled out the form and never actually got the replacement/corrected shirt. Not as big a deal as missing an entire book, but still kind of a pain in the butt, and really unfortunate to hear they still haven't gotten their production and shipping issues figured out.

I own 3 special edition sets (diviners, FBAA, Crave and soon Jack the Ripper) from the bookish box and while PHYSICALLY they’re some of the better special editions I’ve bought, everything else is meh. I mean I buy the special editions purely for aesthetics, so I have no idea what the readability is like on the inside. I do feel bad for the authors and artists that have contracts with bookishbox cuz I’ve heard they’re not the best in that dept ALLEGEDLY
I agree with you about the corrupt series about the queerbating part. I love PD and the devil's night series but I do have a problem with the queerbaiting and you can tell that PD did that on purpose for people to like her books. I always see a pattern with queerbaiting in her books and idk if she'll ever talk about it. I don't think she will write an mm or ff book but will use queerbaiting as a plot which is really annoying !!!!
Your opinion is 100% valid but I just want to come in here to say that she does have a FF romance titled Tryst Syx Venom. It’s a great read and I totally recommend checking it out!

You stick it between things and it sticks out so between books or between a book and the edge of the bookshelf
