I remember when this song came out: a large group of 12-year-old boys listening intently round the radio trying in vain to work out what the lyrics were. "It's watchawiwina, it's watchawiwina, it's watchawiwina fatboy slippin'"? To this day, hearing it as an adult, I still can't tell. Also what that little guy is saying in the background: "Yeah, yeah, yeah, dugguduh"?

Norm is stupid talented,,, to think I was genuinely worried about what he'd do when the Housemartins broke up. lol,, made me feel proper dumb. Genius ALWAYS floats to the top.

Fatboy slim is underrated af, I talk to people and no one knows who i am talking about, I guess I am U.S.A. though.
Well, (almost) 20 years later; and English isn't my first language, but: Today I found out:
The text is
*»We got to; Kick that gangster shit; Come on«*
and not
*»You are adicted to XTC, Come on«*
LMAO, really :D
I remember when this song came out: a large group of 12-year-old boys listening intently round the radio trying in vain to work out what the lyrics were. "It's watchawiwina, it's watchawiwina, it's watchawiwina fatboy slippin'"? To this day, hearing it as an adult, I still can't tell. Also what that little guy is saying in the background: "Yeah, yeah, yeah, dugguduh"?
