"Give me control of a country's money supply, and I care not who makes their laws", Amschel Rothschild.
"Not only are the banks too big to fail, but they are also too big to prosecute", Eric Holder USA Attorney General addressing Congress April 2013.
I wish more people would gen up on Central Banking and the creation of money out of thin air by the private banks. Unfortunately, when one mentions it eyes just glaze over and go blank.

beaubarri - sorry, but nobody controls the country's money! I mean, nobody controls mine! Oh, and by the way, they got prosecuted left, right and centre- last time I checked! They got hit by massive fines, got sued, and a few bankers even got jailed!
Strangely enough, no politicians went to jail/got sued/ got fined etc. They were the ones who interfered with the banks; bullying them into making loans they would never have made in the past! All to get more votes, and stay in power!

and yea, he is a leftist, he bitches about austerity, when the reason the crisis happend is exactly because of banks giving money to people they shouldnt have, and this lunatic s proposing even more of the thing that led to it to begin with
also yea, interesting how all greeks are the good guys and eu are the bad guys because austerity

In a free market each person is able to bargain with different people to determine the pecuniary value of his/her own labor, rather than to be forcibly remunerated according to a decision made by some government official per socialism. A free market system is just and proper because it enables each person to achieve the highest possible pecuniary return for his/her labor by bargaining with multiple people and by freely entering into contracts that will most advantageously remunerate remunerate him/her. This willing seller-willing buyer situation also benefits society because it incentivizes people to develop and provide new and improved products and services for the public. Products and services developed competitively through free enterprise are on the whole far superior to the products and services that are available in a government-controlled socialist economies. Whenever and wherever true socialist economies have been instituted, they have ALWAYS failed to compete with free market systems. Furthermore, socialism can not survive unless it is forcibly imposed by government on citizens. True socialism benifits only the elite ruling class and always deprives other citizens of basic rights.

For me as European citizen, both crisis 2008 and COVID (especially 2008, due to better PR from Europe at handling that second crisis), were an absolute dissapointment and a blow right in the middle of my proud European citizenship. Except the Germans are slowly waking up, it is absurd that Germany has to pay for other nations. Germany's AfD wants Germany out of the EU and they are the fastest-growing political party in Germany, now a major force. Once Germany leaves the EU is dead.
