Whatever you get, make sure you swap those brand new tires off the combine in the shop. The one being fixed might be the best one. People trade for a reason. Keep that in mind when looking at used equipment.
If you get that combine, I highly recommend getting rid of those floatation tires. Had them on my 9760. Ended up having a blowout and a single tire ended up costing $9-11k. Traded off for duals
Have you thought about having someone custom harvest remainder of your crops? If you getting your current combine fixed and save money you would be spending on a new combine. Overall, I hope you find a nice combine and congratulations on your purchase.
I'm surprised you would look at rice combines for harvesting corn and soybeans as your main crops. The variable stream rotor and accelerator are pretty hard on corn quality. They do fine in soybeans but less desirable in corn. The tristream rotor is much better for running corn and green stemmed beans. Always have your dealer run a serial number for specs when looking seriously at a purchase. Good Luck out there!
Man, Dwade that Red Combine with the tracks is U and your Brother all the way. 😅😅 I tell U what get a Gleaner! Juat messing with U, hope U find what U want. But, I do got $.50 on the Red Combine! 😂😂
Nice machine! I guess my question would be is, are you going to keep on farming or turning it over to someone else? If not is it worth the money or could you rent one to finish harvest and be done with it?
Most all equipment down south is poorly maintained. Most of stuff on that lot is there for a reason. To buy someone else's problems. Get yours fixed and keep it At least you know what that one is somewhat.
Hello my friend, I have a question for you all. Since you are in the market for a combine? Why not just lease one if it's feasible? I am not a Farmer but I follow you all the time, and I do know a little about farming and the equipment that a farm needs. This is just a comment ok.
I missed something. Is it just the chopper mounting that broke on your combine? Could it be welded/patched to get through harvest and fixed properly in the off season?
It is my opinion and think about it why buy a large machine like that and run a 6 row corn head smh waste of money and for what little he farm he don't need nothing that big plus he said he enjoys driving trucks so make it make sense

I still have the 9770
Tough call… I’d say pickup a second older machine than run 2 and put the money into updating the freight side if you do that more than farm idk
Well yeah that’s true . But at that price between the 2 is bananas
@@dionwadefarmsllc bananas are cheap

Nothing like owning
@dionwadefarms yes I know, I was just offering a suggestion that was all, God speed my friend.
Buy the S680!! It would be such a good combine for you!!
Will see what happens

Ummm 🤔 I may can rig it up some kind of way but . Since it an insurance job . Hell why not
I’d go ahead and bite the bullet with farming with Reuben the S series will get enough hours hope you brought your wallet and big paycheck good luck
LoL 😂 it’s the price they want for it what got me
They got any Massey-Ferguson out there???
Try a 8120 caseih
Any claas dealers in your area lexion 740tt are a nice machine
Nah
Go red u been let down so many time with tht green money machine it’s time for a change
One day
I like the 1 tire combine I see why yo-yo wanted one
LoL 😂 that’s right
Looks like the hours are low enough for the price tag to scare a person.
It’s to good to be true . That’s why I had to see for myself
You need that red one
If you get a s series you gotta get rid of that flex and get a 30 ft Draper or a flex-draper promise you want regret it
Gotta keep my flex head
U was in my home town Brownsville tn
Shoutout to ya
How many acres you farming? If it's not much get something smaller imo
I work just enough to pay for one
U got big $ brother with u now u good
LoL 😂 he came out to help me find a combine .
Stick with the s680
That was our picker in the shop
Ah ok 👍 kool . What y’all getting done to it
@@dionwadefarmsllc warranty work we just bought two of them the picture down there by the cotton picker you were looking at is one of our old ones
Just my two cents, but you don’t want a combine from the bootheel, Arkansas or Mississippi.
Yeah that’s true
poorly maintained combines ect. can come from anywhere
I run a s 680 I hate it we got 3 they all are troublesome
Why is that
Pre def?
Did you trade
has that 1 been in rice if so better walk cheap combines aint good good combines aint cheap
This one I see has corn cobs in it
How much you want for your combine “as is”
60k
Lease a machine
Buy red
Please don`t buy a piece of junk😉
What should i get
You dont farm enough land to justify something thay big especially if you gonna put that baby corn head on it would be a waste of money
My friend don’t worry about that part just know that I can buy it an pay for it .
I work enough custom jobs to pay for what I have now an plus some .
Don’t always assume you know something, it maybe to him it’s not a waste of money, not your farm not you opinion.
Who you think you are with an ignorant comment like that?!
@@adammiddleton4037 IKR like they don’t know him so they don’t need to tell him buck crap

Wat do u have to lose
Exactly
What he has to lose is family farm and all the equipment
Dion your combine not worth fixing
Yeah it’s worth fixing but the wait time is 2 months. I have other crops needing out plus custom jobs as well
