And when it comes to improving the record by several tenths of a second, such a load may be an obstacle to achieving it.
Would a handbrake be compatible with my Xbox if I plugged it onto one of the USB ports? Would the handbrake then register as a "control"? Because I have a Logitech g920 and does not have a handbrake.
Any game that supports keyboard with the wheel. Only game I had trouble was forza horizon 3, where it disables the wheel everytime i pull the handbrake for a second or so

You really sure that you are only getting 180 degrees of rotation? Because the cockpit camera wheel in game only turns 90 degrees to both the sides. Even my forza doesn't have 900 degrees. Its something like 800 degrees max with the weird linearity that requires you to countersteer till only the 90 degrees to both sides most of the time. Maybe any of this your problem?
