Nice work on this series Michael :) Would have been nice to see the cool luma pass you had seperated driving the bump map in c4d but looks great without it aswell.
Thank you! Yeah, I thought of bump/displacement. But with the fine lines and higher tesselation it would’ve blown up the render time ( and this tutorial) 😊
Thank you very much! The royalty free tracks are from artlist.io :). But I edited them to my needs. The Intro music is from Tristan Barton "Dawn Raider" but mixed with slowed down percussions from Maitê Inaê "Maculelê" . The tutorial music is Marshall Usinger "I Know It Cant Break"
Thank you 😊. Yeah, I could’ve subdivide the model for rendering. I even reduced the polygons of the model for the tutorial because ZoeDepth generated a very detailed model and it was so laggy when I sculpted it.
It's been a very excellent work; it resembles projects created with Trapcode plugins. However, information about text, text motion, and blur hasn't been provided in all parts. It would have been nice to have information about cinematic text animation, would there be similar background videos with Trapcode or Stardust plugins?
Thank you! Regarding the text I used an animated gradient ramp to animate the blur (camera blur effect) and the reveal (as a luma matte). But you can also download the AE Project File for a tiny tip if you want to see the details (link in description). As for Trapcode and Stardust I don’t use them so much. I rather use Cinema4D instead.
Can i import 3D objects to AE 2024 (not beta)? Because I tried converting the mesh from the gbl file to .obj with blender but it displays an image that literally says "For use with Trapcode".
Theoretically yes, I explained it briefly here. Because animated textures aren’t possible yet in AE it would’ve been so complicated to let the lines grow in conjunction with a moving camera.
Great content, my only suggestion is to lower the background music a bit in the future. The drumbeats are a bit too distracting when listening to your words.
can anyone give tutorial how i can simulate physics in after effects without any third party plugin. I want to create a simple projects which includes dropping logos on botton and behave like balls colliding each other. This will be very helpful as plugins like newton 3 is very expensive for such projects.
Unfortunately physics in AE without plugins is limited like using Particle Playground. In your case you could avoid using plugins by combining bounce expressions with keyframed animation. Better: use a 3D software like Blender (free).

INSANE! thanks again Michael 🫶🏽
Welcome 😊
Simple STUNNING!!!
Thank you very much 😊
This whole series was complete 🔥🔥
Mind blowing
Thanks, man 😊
Such a good channel. Thank you Michael!

I love the music you used in this video. What music tracks are you using?

Good thing I have a subscription to artlist ^^
Thanks for the music @@MichaelPonch

WOW You are so PRO! maybe in cinema 4d you could also subdivide the model so that he be more smooth.

Always informative & absolutely great tutorial. Thank you!

@@MichaelPonch I understand. It's truly excellent work, thank you again. I've subscribed, and I'm eagerly looking forward to your new projects 🙂
holy shit this is incredible dude
Thanks, man 🙏
Wow, you're cool, greetings from Russia!
Thank you 😊. Cheers to you from Germany!

Yes, with the latest AE 24.1 😊. You don’t need to convert glb to obj. AE accepts glbs and is better for AE anyway.
I have 0 experience with Cinema 4d! Couldn't you have added a camera into after effects and achieved something similar ?
Theoretically yes, I explained it briefly here. Because animated textures aren’t possible yet in AE it would’ve been so complicated to let the lines grow in conjunction with a moving camera.
Great !
Just in time for the recent volcanic eruption
I hope you are not in Iceland right now. But take care if you are 😊

@@MichaelPonch love the percussion sir, awesome mixer for an afro orchestral mix, I'd love to work on something in that direction..👏👏🔥💪
i dont know why but ZoeDepth doesnt work for me
ZoeDepth is not perfect. Maybe you used an image that ZoeDepth has problems with
@@MichaelPonch thanks for the answer, awesome video editing tips !
Can you make a tutorial on how to turn image from 2d to 3d inside after effects

Sir I am your big fan but your tutorial so fast can you make slow down please
Thank you 😊. Yes I know, especially the 3D part is fast because I didn’t want to be 3D software specific. What part was fast for you?
👍
